well, I havent finished my first grow and Ive already started my second. this time I plan on documenting a little better since the first one is loaded with experiments and costs. this time I am using 3 bubblegums planted from seed into a mix of happy frog and generic potting soil with some perlite. I started in root cubes under 7 100watt cfls i bought from home depot, then to 4" pots and now they are in 5 gallon cloth pots. I put them in a 3x3x6 tent with an air cooled 600watt hortilux blue MH. I am using a 6" inline blower to suck the air from the inlet at the bottom of the tent through holes in the table and then out through the hood so its making a ventilation loop. I started feeding with GH 3part at 1/4 strength. and I have been misting once a week with an ammonia/water mix. plants have been topped and will undergo LST under mesh, this is a much more traditional grow compared to my first attempt (which is surprisingly doing OK). Ill try to update once a week with pics.

A little baking soda can bring up the pH. I know many sources of nitrogen are derived from ammonia, but not actual ammonia.
@Aquaponic_Dumme, could you add some input about using ammonia? @Majiktoker ?
I had an old timer at the grow shop tell me he has been doing this for 20yrs. adding an ounce of ammonia to a spray bottle of water and mists his plants with it once a week. Says its like giving it a nitro blast since ammonia is basically nitrogen and hydrogen. Since I’m a newbie, don’t really have anything to compare it to. But it doesn’t appear to hurt it?
I’m really curious to see your final product. I’ve grown 3 bubblegum and found them to be stubborn plants… grew extremely slow and they just never got as big as I wanted. Happy growing!
Ammonia is the base for a lot of fertilisers can’t wait to see out come.

Day 30. still misting with ammonia and water once a week.growing like weeds. hoping to figure out sex soon before they outgrow the tent.

they have outgrown the scrog net. they have been topped and LSTd (a little). Ive stopped spraying with ammonia this week and from the looks and size, I think im switching them to flower next week. they are outgrowing the tent at alarming rate. but they look healthy. I hate to say it, but having to remove a male wouldnt be a bad thing. any thoughts?
Day 49, they are blowing out the sides of my tent. had to raise the light up. dont know what ill do if the get any taller. they are 1 week into flower and 2 are definitely female not sure on the 3rd yet

There is a little more room now, as soon as I flipped to flower I found a male. What I didn’t realize was they will stretch during flower. I’ve had to Supercrop twice and I’m almost out of height and still have 6 weeks to go
Hey not trying to tell you what to do but if you keep Supercropping during flower ya girls WILL hermit. Instead maybe you can lst or hook weights to slowly bent them down
