Good Day friends, I have these 3 plants that are 23 days from breaking the soil. I believe they were stunted at the beginning but I cannot figure out why. They are growing in living soil, the light is a bestva pro 1000 at 12 inches above at 60% I water every 3rd or 4th day doing a circle around the stem(not directly at the stem) with ph 6-7. The rh has been around 60-65% and temp has been 22-23 celcius. Being at 23 days I believe they are small but since they are feminized seeds I don’t think it should be much issue. Any tips or tricks on what to do?
Welcome to the forum.
Stunting is nearly always due to overwatering. Let your soil dry out between waterings.
I figured as much, I’ve been watering when the 1st inch of soil is dry but the bottom of the pot was still wet, I bought a cheap moisture meter to check the pot and after a couple watering they started to grow again
Welcome to the community. Babies r looking healthy just little overwatering.
Happy growing
Welcome to the forum. I see @MidwestGuy and @SilvaBack203 got you covered here. They are 2 very knowledgeable members and mentors. With that said your plants look ok.
This is an update from today. They haven’t had crazy growth but they are improving, I changed them to another pot and added mycorrhizae to the roots. Not sure if it was the right move but I topped them as well. Hopefully they keep moving forward
They aren’t stunted. In fact, they look pretty damn good for 3-week-old plants.
Beautiful healthy babies u got
Those look healthy my friend, you made the right move with up potting and adding mycos, . With my living soil plants I usually don’t see the rapid explosive growth you will with salts but its more of a steady climb, slower building but much healthier plants IMO. What are your plans for flower? I usually do an epsom salt foliar before I flip them, then I slowly add molasses into their waterings, and I use banana peel water all the way thru the grow. Good luck and those guys up there got you if you need anything they know their stuff. So don’t hesitate to reach out if you need too. Happy growing to you.
Hey it’s me again, they’ve been doing great so far, one of them looks like the tips are starting to yellow, and also the new growth is coming out a bit light colored, I’ve been only watering with ph 6-7 since the last update, I top dressed with some organic nutrients 2 days ago, thinking it could have been too much, the other two are doing fine
The new growth will be lighter as the chlorophyll has had a chance to get into yet. Looking good.
I see, thanks
