Thanks man. I had five plants last year, and the one Gold Leaf plant had the sweetest sticky and potent buds. So I went all in with Gold Leaf this year. I’ve just used Miracle Grow the last two years with good success (average yield of 2 oz per plant). I switched to the Reefertilizer this year, and the Grow nutrient had 20 for Nitrogen. These two plants started going yellow before I switched to the Bloom nutrient, which has much less Nitrogen.
I’ll give the yellow ones a shot of something with more nitrogen.
Nice, sounds like you know whats what. I use jacks high performance and jacks bloom booster for flower. The bloom is 10-30-20 and my plants stay green as long as i keep feeding. There similiar to miricale grow, which i do not recommend.
The goldleaf is a favorite among my group of social smokers. Aka-pot heads
Located in Louisa County. My Gold Leaf is chugging a long still. Relocated her this weekend to a much less conspicuous spot that also is about 6 feet from my water hose. Gold Leaf is starting to stack up with buds. Need to take sometime this weekend and thin the leaves out some. Harvested the last of my first run auto white widows. The Runt produced roughly 3 ounces (eyeball estimste). Ended up with 3 nice COLAs. Thanks Hailstorm! My second run of autos have been in flower about 2.5 weeks. Gold Leaf started flowering somewhere in Late July, which seemed a tick early. Will post pics later this evening.
All the girls enjoying a rainy 72F Monday . Welcome break this week from the heat is forecast. Thinned the Gold Leaf out on Saturday. Buds are really compact.
Heading to Hatteras to do some surf fishing and hopefully offshore. My friend from High School has a 52’ boat at Wanchese. We do a couple of trips a year.
Plants are Chugging along. WW Autos are stacking nicely but they are smallish compared to past years. Gold Leaf starting to really sugar up and smell great. We have the house opened up right now because of the exceptional weather. I can smell her from my recliner .
Obligatory weekly pics follow
Made it through a week of 95F days with no rain. Been watering predawn all week and the girls all look good considering the conditions. Severe storm rolling through tonight bringing some much needed rain. I tightened the girls all up today so they should be fine. Unless it hails. The Big plant took a pounding from hail in early July but has bounced back way better than I hoped. The Buds are heavy! Maybe a month to go.
Done for the year! Too early but work unexpectedly moving me to another location for a few weeks. Couldn’t come up with a viable plan to get the girls taken care of so I harvested yesterday. Wish they were able to percolate another 3 weeks but it is what it is. Decent haul. Be interesting to see how good it smokes
