A customer has a question and I hope we can get some opinions on it, thanks
“I purchased some of the special seeds and with one seed that’s something I have never experienced or something I have never seen before in 30 years of growing my own…2 stalks from one sprouted (feminized) seed. My question is whether both are viable or should the weaker stalk be sacrificed?”
I had twins with my first grow. Bubblegum (Fem) from ILGM. If the customer wants both plants to survive, they will need to be separated before the roots get tangled. Otherwise, the weaker of the two probably won’t make it.
Maybe for the customer who just ended up with twins. My twins didn’t make it. It was my first grow and I over watered them and put them under a 300w LED that I had way too close. Oh well, live and learn.
That’s a damn shame man. I had my led too close for sprouts to, and it was like 5ft away! Good luck on your next one, here for advice if you need any. Things are going pretty ok for me so far
@GrowManFitz, oh man, sorry to hear that! I started 3 seeds in those peat pots, left them in bottom of propagation some and did same thing, over watered them. One sprouted then promptly fell over, stem was rotted I guess from water, other 2 never came up… I now use it as a learning curve since I have never done this before
