2 plants in one seed

I started Mawi Wowie fem and one seed gave me 2 plants. Iv never heard of this.
I plan to take one out so it don’t have to

compete.
Will this still be a female? Or could it end up a herm. I was going to root the top cutting. Any advice would be great

It’ll be interesting to see how this/these plants develop. The one on the right looks somewhat mutated.

Keep it alive!!!

That’s the Holy Grail. If I had that, I’d get it to pollinate itself no matter how long it took. If it turned out to be a consistent trait there is no limit to the possibilities.

Would be interested to see if they’re the same plant or if they have separate root systems. If they are the same plant I’d let them both ride

Thanks guys I’ll keep it and the cutting. And see what happens.

That is wicked! Im watching. Good luck with the twins!

They should be identical twins from a genetic perspective. A single embryo spilt In the seed much like a human identical twin. Split at the egg cell and developed together. They should be separate plants.

The one on the right looks like a “tricot”. That’ll definitely be interesting!

It should produce 3 leaves per node instead of 2. Will be one crazy bush of a plant!

Here’s what a 3 leaf can turn into.

But only on main stem. :v:
All the branches are 2.

Absolutely my man. She’s 57 days from seed and was the slowest start of this grow. 3 weeks in flower tomorrow. And very very busy underneath the canopy.
And thank you very much. :+1::v:
