1st week of Flower?

I’m in my first week of flowering and my girl needs to be fed. Strain is ILGM Durban Pioson in 5 gal AC Infin fab pot, 2x2 tent, Viparspectra 1500 Pro, Gaia Green 444, Gaia Green Bloom, Humboldts Secret Cal/Mag + Iron, and Recharge. My question is should I feed with GG 444 or GG Bloom ? She definitely needs water, and I noticed today that her leaf tips are browning and turning down. I’m guessing it’s from under watering and lack of nutrients ? I’m as new as they come to this, and I’ve been paranoid not to over water or over feed from day 1.

Post some pics Growmie and if you’re top dressing those nutrients it’s going to take a week or a little less to become available. There’s a few growers here using the Gaja Nutes that’ll chime in :love_you_gesture:

Ok Thanks, I will post some pics in a few minutes

Def needs a good soaking. Any top dressing of dry amendments will take a week or two to become avail to the plant. I use coast of maine dry amendments and always think two weeks ahead.

What’s a good fertilizer to feed so she doesn’t have to wait a week or more ? I probably should have not chose to use organic fertilizer on my first grow

Ive been growing organically since the beginning. Get cha a bag of worm castings, a small bag of sea bird guano, some unsulphured backstrap molasses, and make a worm castings/guano tea. By making a tea, it makes the nutrients immediately available to the plant versus 1 to 2 weeks. The molasses feeds the microbes in the soil and makes nutrients even more absorable by the roots… @Fladida

Thanks for the great advice, I will get that done today.

Personally I don’t think these are needing nutrients. Since you’re organic I would suggest a soil slurry test to check the available nutrients. I’m fairly certain @ChittyChittyBangin uses the method often. Run off would be the other method but not used for organic growing :love_you_gesture:

I took your advice and did a soil slurry test, the ph was 5.8 my ph tester is the APERA AI209. I did get everything today to make a tea,. Grandmas BS Molasses, and Down To Earth kelp Meal, fish bone meal, alfalfa meal, bat guano. I know I need to brew the tea for at least 24 -36 hrs, but she desperately needed water today so I top dressed with Gaia Green Bloom and watered her with Distilled water ph’d to 6.5. She was defiantly very thirsty because after a couple hrs she perked up a lot fro how she was looking.

Now that I have everything to brew a tea should I give it at the next watering prob about 4 days or should I wait a couple weeks and let the GG top dress do its thing ?

Also any suggestions on pruning, the growth under the top canopy is very thick
