1st time growing and 1st LST

Hey everyone! I’m back with an update. It’s been a while, and she’s bounced back nicely, growing some foliage. From what I can tell, the canopy looks pretty even at the moment. Should I do some more bending and tying down now, or should I wait for her to grow a bit more? Maybe consider some defoliation? She’s 24 days old since germination now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

As she comes up and grows keep tying her down. I constantly lst daily (multiple plants) and tuck leaves to expose sites or defol when needed. Some strains need it some don’t. But don’t wait too long or it’ll be too late to get the structure you’re looking for. She looks good to me tho. When they get too sturdy later it’s hard to lst without breaking branches. @kardel, that lst is spot on.

Thanks! Could you let me know which branches will eventually produce buds? I’m curious to ensure they get more light exposure. Since I’m a first-time grower, I’m not entirely sure about it lol. Will it be the tips I’ve marked in red? Also, is it okay to remove the bottom big fan leaves?

Actually, I accidentally snapped the main stem while doing some LST, I might have overdone it lol. It tore halfway through the stem’s skin, but I managed to make some repairs. This DWC lid isn’t very convenient for LST; next time, I should consider using something better to secure the wires.

I understand. Just let it grow out and heal then stress her a little by continuing lst training. She’ll keep growing bud sites and you just have to keep up with it. Twist with the fingers on the branch like a doobie then you flex stems and place them where you want. Don’t just horse it. A little light and a good feeding and you can take her how you want.
