Hey, everyone!
1st time grower here. I have been GLUED to this forum watching everyone’s grows and am just loving it.
I’m growing 3 plants right now. CBD Kush was born 11/7/23, CBD Critical mass 1 was born 11/17/23, and CBD Critical mass 2 was born 11/25/23.
I struggled a little in the very beginning with a couple seedlings, but I’m getting better with them now. That’s why their dates are spread out like they are.
I’m growing in a 4x4 AC infinity tent with all AC infinity equipment except the space heater and humidifier.
Grow medium is Coco Coir/Perlite w/worm casting from Jim’s worm farm mixed in. Using Humboldt’s Secret bottled nutes.
I’ve been using their baseline recommendations cut in half. I’ve been keeping the tent between 70 and mid 80s. I just dialed the auto fans in to keep it at 83 max. Humidity between 60 and 75. Holding pretty well in the mid 60s now.
Feel free to let me know what I could do better. These are all autos.
Here is CBD Kush so far.
I’ll get a pic of CM2 in a few. She’s struggled to pop the ground. She started to pop the ground, then stopped. The tips of her leaves started to brown. I could see there was something wrong with her, so (I know I shouldn’t have messed with her, but I don’t think she was going to make it anyway), so, I gently scooped her out of the Coir and placed her in a seed pod and made sure she her roots were nice snug in there. She’s finally growing now. I’ll get some pics in a little bit.
Feel free to let me know what you think so far.
Thanks for the input! I’m working on the temps right now. I work 12 hour days and we have been have some pretty extreme temp swings. These are being grown on my sun porch and it’s unfinished, so there isn’t any temperature control out there yet. There are times I leave for work and its 24° outside, then, I get home and it’s 60° out there, so, I have to just keep it as close as i can right now.
Snapped a couple more pics of the girls today.
I also want to say that I can’t say enough about AC Infinity’s customer support. Man, you just dont find companies that have good support like that anymore. Guys that are actually growers working the calls for them! Anyway, I had been having some temperature issues. Nothing catastrophic, but less than ideal swings (100% my fault, nothing else’s fault). One quick call to them and they got me all set now. Should stay within a couple degrees of 76 with humidity in the mid 60s.
CM2 This little lady just won’t give up. I think she was doomed from the start, but, she popped, so I’m going to keep taking care of her and hope she does something.
Kush She’s really growing and I just smelled her for the first time when I stuck my head in the tent. I know it kind of sounds dumb, but it was exciting to smell that smell from something you grew for the first time.
My little deformed seedling (CM2) just doesn’t seem to want to give up. Every leaf she has is all screwed up, but she’s still going. She first popped the ground on the 17th, so she’s, so she’s two and a half weeks old today. Lol. Ain’t she purrrty?
CM1 seems to just be plugging along. She’s the same age as CM2 (the little seedling that is all screwed up), so I’m ready for her to start taking off pretty soon.
Kush 1 just seems to be loving life. Growing well, eating well and looking good to me. I’m glad we’re getting along so far… She turns a month old tomorrow, so im excited to watch her start to flower. I just watch for white hairs, right?
CM2 is just going to be a mutant. Lol. Im going to just repot it and see what it does. I dont expect anything from it, but ill jist watch it. It finally has one leaf that is straight. Lol
I’m trying to gently LST CM1. Hopefully I’m doing it right…
This was yesterday. I had to trim the two lowest branches off, they were in the dirt. I played around with some landscape staples.
Not sure what to do about CM1… I feel like I need to trim some of those giant fan leaves so the bud sights can get more light and airflow, but, I’m afraid to. Any thoughts? I’ve tucked some leaves and put clips on what I could.
Well, the mutant is doing great for a totally wacked out mutant. I think if she was a person, she wouldn’t have arms or legs. I’m pretty sure she’d be missing some other stuff too…
Trying to do more LST on both Kush and CM1. CM1 is so think and the fan leaves are so big, I feel like bud sites can’t get any light. I’ve been trying to tuck them as much as I can.
The mutant is doing well, but, I did notice that the coco wasnt drying out and I was starting to see some bright green in the soil, so I put her in a 3 gallon fabric pot. I only even saw one root when I took her out to transplant, so, I don’t think I stressed her out too bad. She was my only plant that was in a plastic pot from the patio.
Some updated pics…
Kush 1 is getting really stretchy and I hope the bud sites start filling out. Can anyone say if they will? I raised the light about 12".
CM1 is doing well. Entering week 2 of flower, she’s sooooo bushy and just starting to stretch. Im going to bring both ofnthem inside tonight or tomorrow and trim up some of the bottom leaves and out some more clips on.
