@danniep40 yeah i use the green measuring cup came with the nutrients
I have ran into what i think is a gnat problem … how do i fix … they are little white crawling bugs … not on my big plant but all over my little ones
Diatomaceous earth or capt jacks dead bug should do the trick I would think
@Jonesy287 i sprinkled Diatomaceous earth around the top of soil … will that hurt my plant when its time to water them … im letting them dry out … found out that the new bag of dirt i used for them had these little bitty tiny things crawling str8 out the bag
@Jonesy287 I was insepecting my soil & it seems as the little mfs making my soil feel more dense … lord knows im glad you guys are here to talk to cause i was finna throw all 6 plants away & start over im really mad about that soil… this is the second time ive had an issue … the first set of soil i odered came in the mail soak & wet already … had to send it back
Try coco and perlite
@Jonesy287 is that what you use … & also would it hurt the plant if i water after sprinkling Diatomaceous earth onto it or is the another step i need to do before i water
I would just top dress it with it. It’ll kill the eggs and larvae. That’s the goal
@Jonesy287 i found out that they are soil mites … Diatomaceous earth doesn’t work for them … looking for a solution… they aren’t doing any damage it actually says they are healthy for the soil but im still getting rid of them .
Update on my 1st grow it has gotten bigger then i expected also update on little ones … i did a lil pruning to bigger plant … 7 weeks old today
They all look great! Sorry about the bugs. I don’t know anything about soil mites.
I wonder if ladybugs would be a fix? Someone will weigh in on this
I need help on how to determine when ready … this is all under magnifying glass … should i get something that can see deeper into the plant
This is at 8 weeks
Just tryna see so i know when to start my flush
You e got a long while to go yet growmie. Just watch her explode! Couple weeks into flower I’m guessing? Once the white pistils recede back into the bud and turn amber, then start checking triches. They’re looking good! Keep going. Make sure your dli is good. Don’t want any foxtails from too much and not good production from too little. Doing great!
Look into this. Amazing photos to determine doneness
Unfortunately you won’t be able to see triches good enough to determine cloudiness/amber with the magnifying glass
@Jonesy287 yes this is what i need to see readiness… im sure i don’t have to much longer … how long into fliur before it smells
Mine started stinking really good around week 5-6 I wanna say. Charcoal filter went on around end of week 4 I do believe.
@Jonesy287 hmm … i really domt smell it at all even though i smoke alot of weed in my house … the only time i really smell it is if i rub the stem or something
It’ll get better. Right after the dry was when it was most pungent outside of the cure of course.
