@Damo
Coco is a lil bit different than the pro mix I use.
But still both inert media.
With coco I believe the flush time can be shortened a bit as it doesn’t hold onto the nutes as much as the pro mix does.
More easily rinsed out.
Essentially coco is treated the same as hydro when it comes to flushing.
Just to be 100% sure I’ll tag @Covertgrower and @MattyBear in on this. ![]()

I typically flush for about one week, but I probably over kill it, and couple of days of flushing would be just fine too.
I only use the flower fuel in the 2nd or 3rd to 5th or 6th week in flower also do one or 2 waterings after with dry kool bloom then flush for the rest. Flush is gonna be a bit diff in coco this time but i like it wont take as long to flush out the nutes. Cant wait to try the bud and see the taste differences between soil and coco grows.
Pk 13/14 is going to be a mix of monopotassium phosphate and something like potassium sulfate. 0-50-30 may have multiple ingredients but is going to be pretty much straight monopotassium phosphate.
One or the other could be better depending on what else you’re using and when you’re using it.
The pk is only used for a week (about 5th week of flower) I think and the 0-50-30 says to use all way through flower from flip to flush. So confusing
The potassium difference means what in simple terms? @dbrn32
Depends on concentration that each are mixed. You could say that 0-50-30 has more p and the same amount of k than pk 13/14. Or you could say 0-50-30 has the same amount of p and less k than pk 13/14.
Those numbers are just ratios and don’t definitively reference the ppm of each in a final solution.
