That tds question being in the 250 range do i add on top of that 250 meaning act like 250 is zero when adding nutes or do I add onto that 250 with nutes
Would it be correct to start at 500 PPM if so should I add nutes till I get 500 tds or should I add until 750 tds??
I hope the question makes sense…
If your target TDS is 500 and your starting out with 250, your actual target should be 750
Your actual target will depend upon what your feeding the plants, generally you’ll get a feeding schedule along with products that will tell you what levels you should be shooting for at various stages of the plants life and also the condition of the water youre using
Thats exactly what I needed to know… based of that alone I’m alot more comfortable starting this grow… I do know I have fem white widow seeds but I’m not sure about that purple crush… I have another tent with a little light so im going to throw the purple crush in the 2x2x4 until I can determine the sex. After that I’ll put em in 4x4… after talking to the supplier the white widows are photos and not autos… so I’m
I lurk in the background. Good luck!
The moment you sit down and draw out your plan and you start realizing your vision is alot bigger than your tent . After measuring it out i realize that 4 x 27 gallon totes won’t fit in a 4x4 tent… we heading back to setup A… 4 X 5 GALLON buckets and a 27 gal tote for mixing reservoir… everything will be manual refills on this virgin’s journey… the way I see it… it’ll keep me engaged and on my toes… But I’m happy to get this party started. Good news is I’m looking at building photoboost lights and purchasing 8x8 for next grow.
What type of system are you running??? I don’t worry about all of those numbers unless, I see an issue. I checked my well water PH a year ago and checked the PH and PPM on my first Hydro run once in the very beginning. This run, I have checked nothing and have not changed or drained my res. That has always been my intent. Fill up at start up, to off when needed drain and refill at next start up. Seems to be working. I’m running a RDWC that I designed and have people in a half a dozen states or so, on this forum and others, running them with very similar results. I’m gonna be Like @HappyHydroGrower and hide in plain sight as, I always do. I got your six, if you need me
Why not 4- 27 gal totes and an external res???
Basic dwc just 4 buckets and 4 airstones it was a kit I purchased offline in a rush to get started when I should have just researched some more…
It won’t hold 4 inside the tent … 48 inches by 48 inches and the totes the wife brought home run 20 inches by 30 inches
That’s how my Hydro journey started, A Kratky experiment based on some yo tube videos I watched, it had a major evolution from then on
My 5x5 held 4 and room for autos
Yea your 5x5 should have had some room left over with four totes cause its 60x60 depending on how you had your totes oriented…
