Hi All
Any idea what could be the problem here? GSC Autoflower, about 10 weeks old. Outdoor grow in 420 planting mix (which has worked well in the past). Fed with General Hydroponics liquid nutrients. Has been a very hot summer with 100 degrees F not uncommon and down to 66 degrees at night. Water every other day (sometimes every third day). All my plants have same condition.
The leaves have done their job. They will die off as she gets towards harvest. Do you have loupe to check the buds? Check for pests, also.
I have a magnifier that speaks to my IPhone and gets great magnification and photos. I’ll start checking the buds soon. They haven’t started to smell that much yet, which is typically my indication that I should start paying attention to the trichomes. Last season, I could smell them across the yard. So you think this is just maturation of the leaves and not any deficiency or excess? Thanks for your thoughts.
10 weeks total or 10 weeks in flower? I zoomed in and didn’t see many pistils so she might be getting close. May wanna put that loupe on them and see
Hi MattyB
I’ll shoot a few closeups and share with you all. It’s 10-11 weeks total, since seeds germinated. Thanks for any tips. Only my 2nd grow (buds are looking good - staving off the caterpillars with Capn’ Jacks spray).
I didn’t see not one pistil or am i that blind
Hi all. I took a bunch of photos for your keen analysis. I was surprised at the milky trichomes and even more surprised to see the darkening of the trichomes. Based on everything I’ve read, it seems like this is about ready to harvest. This has been a fast grow cycle and caught me off guard. Your comments and tips are greatly appreciated.
These look good, but are they of actual bud or mostly sugar leaves? The sugar turn faster. if these are of buds, it is chop time
Try to get shots towards down farther if possible. You can always take the top buds off and dry.
Hi Beachglass. These are photos of what I think are buds. See what I circled below. Sugar leaves are the actual small leaves that have trichomes, right? Sorry, I am still a NOOB with growing, but enjoying my new hobby!
I’m not sure what you meant by take shots “farther down”.
