Yellowing bottom leaves. Please help

Hello everyone, currently in the 7/8th week for these 4 autoflowers. I used foxfarms happy frog soil with the foxfarms wholly mackeral fish fertilizer for nutrients which is a 3-1-0 ratio. Tbh all the different nutrient ratios confuse me.

I don’t know whether I over or under fed them or if they’re wanting more magnesium entering flower stage? They started slowly showing light green which turned to yellow with dry tips. I took the lower yellow ones off. After reading a little online of similar problems I purchased some cal-mag from amazon which is arriving tomorrow. Should I add some cal-mag since I haven’t added any all grow? Also just wondering has anyone tried growing autoflowers using no nutrients just water for feeding? Thanks ahead of time :pray:t4::call_me_hand:t4:

It normal for the fan leaves at the bottom to yellow and fall off.:v:

Wont hurt a thing. Might need a flowering nute boost. Looks a bit hungry.

@Flitme thank you for letting me know and putting my mind at ease. They were looking great up until last week when yellowing started. I thought I was feeding them wrong.

@Storm I appreciate the advice, I’ll add some cal-mag tomorrow. Would you happen to know the ratio of the flowering nute boost that I should get?

Whatever the nutrient line you are using has. Should need nothing else. I dont use your soil. If staying that brand others who do will chime in.

This plant is hungry Growmie, what you’re feeding is missing is the needed Phosphorus and Potassium plus all the micro nutrients :love_you_gesture:

@OGIncognito thank you for this advice growmie :pray:t4:ordering the bloom nutes online now. Now it makes sense, what I was using was high in nitrogen but gave little to no phosphorus and potassium. You may have just saved my grow. I’m hoping its smooth sailing after this but you never know with these majestic ladies. I hear you’re not supposed to count your grams before you harvest or something of that nature?
