Hi all. Newbie here.
Hydro grow. Perfect PH advance nutrients in RO water. 24/7 air and water pumps. Fully controlled climate with optimal temp and RH. 600W full spectrum light. Girl Scout extreme on the bottom and GG on top about 2 weeks old from seed. Bottom right Girl Scout cookies extreme has yellow streaks all throughout. Even on brand new growths as they come up. Has been like that since it sprouted on day 1. Plant looks healthy otherwise. Not wilted or dry or anything. Growing at same pace as the rest. Exact same strain and age directly next to it to the left is perfectly green. Not sure if it’s genetics or if something is actually wrong… don’t think it’s nutrient burn as the tips are actually nice and green. But could be wrong.
Any advice/insight would be appreciated!
Thanks!
Could be natural variegation. I have a plant like that also.
I am other growers will respond.
I agree. It looks like what I refer to as “birthmarks” LOL
I see it all the time in very young plants.
Those look vibrant and healthy to me.
I don’t do hydro but @Graysin does, I believe.
Agree with @JaneQP on the leaf variegation
Thank you all very much.
Yep.
Absolutely.
Although expect it’ll probably continue even as she gets older. One of the weird things about variegated leaves in hydroponics is they don’t tend to grow out of it quite the same way soil grows do. They grow “too fast” in hydroponics, so it may take weeks to go away, if it ever does. Honestly I haven’t yet found it to be an issue - once you know what variegation looks like, it’s pretty easy to spot legitimate issues alongside it.
Awesome! Good to know. Thanks!
