Yellow leaves NOT caused by high pH?

Hahaha. I’m wrong more than I’m right. But I keep trying.

Yep, she’s a little over three weeks. How much time passed between those photos? I know you said two weeks into flowering but I’m assuming that’s more than two weeks between pics

@Drinkslinger if that is the first signs of flowering, could it still pull through? Probably a dumb question, but do plants still grow in size during the flower stage? Or just produce bud at that stage?

The first 2 weeks of flower they stretch like crazy. Like double in size. No, that is about 4 weeks apart. In my experience autos tent to flower around 4 to 5 weeks. Sometimes longer, sometime shorter. That is what is nice about photos. If u stunt a photo in veg you can just veg it tell she recovers. Can not do that with autos, they do their own thing. Keep an eye on that top growth if its clear pistils then ur plant is flowering but if it is new growth you should still be ok

Thanks @Axemanjake23 , I’ll keep an eye on it, but it hasn’t grown any taller for at least two weeks. During that time it was growing new leaves but now it’s not even doing that.

I have some FFHF coming today, I think I’ll start another with 2/3 OF on bottom, 1/3 HF on top to see how that goes. I also have some promix hp coming in another week. I’ll try another with a mix of that and HF when that comes in. I think I’ll do a grow journal to so I take better notes.

Next time I order seeds, I think I’ll try photos. I heard they were easier but I’m starting to wonder if photos are better for beginners

Photos are easier. I prefer them.

Was a little surprised at what I saw this morning, so I thought I’d add an update. I’d imagine the top leaves being “perky,” for the lack of a better term, is a good sign my girl might pull through? @DoomSack @Myfriendis410 @Axemanjake23

Can you take a close up of the top middle of the plant? That does actually look like pistils, might be really light colored new growth. She might be in preflower. If it is new growth then let her go she might be a great plant still. But, if that is pistils she is gonna be a little one cola plant not worth the time in my honest opinion.

@Axemanjake23 this is the best pic I could get

Still no sure. Heck let it go. Lol

It might be pistils, they look at little more white than they appear in the photo. Regardless, I just let it go for another week or two at least. See how it does.

@TripleB I’d let this one grow. If you get anything from it, great, if not, no worries.
let it first hand educate you, learn from it. You’d be surprised to know there’s some runts on these grow journals that actually bounce back. You haven’t killed her, she’s tougher than we thought :joy:

I think you have yourself a 1 gram pot plant growing right there! You may need to reveg it? Unless its an auto?

Unfortunately it is an auto, but I have another one just about to periscope from what I can tell. I have it in promix hp and the soil is popping up a bit where the seed is. I’m going to let the stunted one go just to see what happens mostly, but the focus will be on the new one

Hi all, i have something wrong with one of my 2 plants,
a little history here i am first time grower
and they are in flower stage, maybe 8 weeks since i flipped them to 12/12 and probably 5 weeks since i seen first pistil,
i had inferior lighting for first half of the 12/12,
so i first thought it may be light burn from new lights or possible deficiency since i seen it on upper most leaves on tallest cola,
but this morning i noticed it on lower leaves so now i only think it to be a NUTE issue or maybe lack of nutes… guessing maybe Iron or Copper, i am not sure really, i am remembering back to some stuff i had read awhile back
1st pic is lower leaf and second pic is upper most leaf on tallest cola
please see pics and offer opinions
thanks

What is your environment like now? Temp and RH? How high are your lights above the canopy? And have you checked for pests?

Looks light burnt.

@frankiefingers…your in good hands.

i have been stressed over this… they probably are going to have nutrient burn now lol i just dosed them with GH CAL-MAGic and GH cool bloom, it just arrived in the mail today so its the very first dose of either of those, I would think they probably needed it anyway, i only give nutes once per week and follow directions to the letter, and the rest of the time plain water, so i pretty sure i didnt hurt them today with the new nutes, they have become very thirsty this past week with the new lights i have to water every 2 days because the soil dries out quick now, before the new lights i could go 3 or 4 days between water, i think the pots are too small they are just 14" plastic pots from lowes maybe only 12 inches tall if i had to guess i would call them 3 gallon, next grow i will upgrade to 5 gallon or bigger, i see lot of people use 5 gallon buckets how does that work out they seem plenty deep but to me i think they are very narrow, i thought the roots spread out horizontally more than vertically, i may be wrong as matter a fact if i was a betting man i would bet against me

You would be correct. In fact I tried something I didn’t tell anyone about. I took my 5 gallon fabric pot, and rolled it down until it was half the height. But still had the radius of the larger pot. So it was wide, but short. I think it did well.
As far as feeding goes start with half, and work your way up is a mostly safe bet. @frankiefingers

i have seen the fabric pots advertised somewhere before, and i am sure i can find them again no problem,

i think i read that they help the roots breath,

do you find that with the fabric pot that you use more water than a solid pot?

and my biggest concern is are they reusable?
does the bottoms rot out with multiple uses?

i don’t mind spending money but tend to shy away from single use items,

example i will decline a bag at the store if i can easily carry my items without one,
