I’m thinking my friend is over watering, but, I’m no expert. I would like some input from the experts.
How about a standoff pic of the whole plant? It is normal for cannabis to shed its lower leaves as the plant matures.
Agreed with @MidwestGuy , but would like to add that you may want to do a hard search for bugs/pests. Many of those leaves, including the normal green ones, have holes in them. Doesn’t look like wind damage or nute/water splash. There’s actually some small leaf hoppers in the pic after looking again. I highly recommend Captain Jack’s Dead Bug Juice Concentrate mixed at 1.5x strength. Spray every evening for a few days, then every other, then you can go to as needed.
I knew I should have taken a pic of whole plant. They all have new growth. He has been putting water on them every day. That is why I’m thinking it a “wet feet” issue.
Yes, daily watering is far too much for a soil grow.
Unless a living soil you have to keep moist. Otherwise @MidwestGuy is absolutely correct. Wet/dry/wet etc.
I’ve been trying to get him to do that. I got some pest control from grow store. I’m not sure the brand. Not at home at the moment to look at it.
@dhester hey did you ever pin down this yellowing issue???
No. I’m thinking it is nutrient deficiency. New growth looks fabulous. I also learned my friend sprayed plants in the morning before hot sun hit them which would explain a couple having burnt tops.
