Oh a question… what if I ha e dumped all my leaves?
You can use some of your sugar leafs if you keep those. clip a couple off of your other plants. I have heard of people using a small slice of a Apple. Keep me posted let me know how your drying and curing goes. I think you’ll be happy with the meters it takes the guess work out.
Hi @kellydans, I got my hydrometers!
I Jarred up today. Some dry, some almost dry. The almost dry I’m just going to leave the lid off? The dry one I’ve put a Boveda sachet in.
Am I on the right track? The mostly dry one with lid off one reads 89% - will that be ok sitting there with lid off?
Hi can i chime in.
Were did you end up getting those little thermometers in the end @anon49170411 also those jars.
Were did you get those.
I got some online last year but ive seen them at Briscoes too.
Ive used those boveda packs i heard someone on the forum say they can change the taste of your weed.
Like to hear what others say about that.
Then lastly why h202 in the water.
Again i read on here from a few people that adding say 2 drops to 25mls water helps aerate the water and kill any nasties.
Cheers

I’ve sent you the link to the hydrometers by email. They are on trademe. Forgot how to post it here so that was easier ![]()
The jars I get from the $2 shop for $6.50
That’s interesting about the h202, I might try that next time.
The boveda packs I came across because a friends buds had become too dry. So I sourced them from a cigar shop to try help fix his issue then thought I’d try them out.
Let me know if you want anymore seeds my friend. Keen to swap the hat again for some if you need. I have loads! Chat soon ![]()

Wow you got the meters quick! Seems like when I order something it takes forever. The 89% I would go with the brown paper bag method for a day then back to the jar. The packs you could end up with a bad taste. As @Blackmoon mentioned. The packs are more for holding at percentage than the curing process. Nice to have the stash on the Shelf looking good.
@anon49170411 frist i would rotate the one reading 89% that could possibly be a bad meter.
Show off @anon49170411 re loads of seeds.
Im more than haappy to receive your hat again and the bag it came in.
Its already addressed right.
The woman at the post office said it can be reused.
Just don’t know what i can trade with you. You have every seed from all corners of the world now.
You got all the seeds probably that i got now.
Lucky you
Just put my screen over my ww autos. 4 plants. Back left was very successfully fimmed. Can’t even count the branches! The two front ones successfully fimmed but not as full as the back one. But number 4 - back right is lagging a bit. Not quite up to screen level but the others are… hopefully it will catch up ![]()

Any suggestions?
@Blackmoon @Not2SureYet. @kellydans @Happilyretired. @anon90946932
It looks like it’s just starting to flower, as they start to stretch you can spread them out to some of the empty holes and open your canopy a little more if you like.Or you can raise it up a little bit and let them stretch a little more and then work them over to the holes you want them in.
These are not suggestions, just a couple options I thought I’d throw out there.
For sure… will spread them as much as possible. They are on 18/6. I just hope the runt at the back picks up so I get an even canopy - I like to keep the runts as they are often my favs in the end
@Happilyretired is right. Get ready to tuck
After week 3 is finished. I start trimming all the stuff under the screen to put all the energy up top. Is that a 3x3 tent? I forget. You are about to have a very full tent with 4 in there
They are looking nice and happy ![]()
Lol as I said I can tend to overfill ![]()

Why waste space, right ![]()
Chances are the runt will catch up when they hit stretch mode if not you can always put something under the pot to raise it up a little to make a even canopy. Hey your plants look great. I’ve been buying a few things to get ready for my winter grow I was in need of a new filter, I ordered one yesterday.
@kellydans…
I’ve read a couple of different places that you can recharge your filter by putting it in the oven and baking it. I’ve seen it a few times I don’t exactly remember where…![]()

Thanks @Happilyretired I’ve never tried that. I’m in a unfriendly state, so quality filter is on top of my priority list. I usually get about two Grows out of a quality filter. I use a 6x24 filter, might not fit in my oven but I will definitely keep that in mind. Happy growing ! ![]()
… I didn’t think about it not fitting in the oven. I see the tape measure in my near future… I personally never tried it I just seen it bouncing around the web thought I’d mention it. A new filter will knock the hell out of $100 bill so I figured it was worth a shot to mention it… I hope you have a great day…![]()
I have seen where the filters have had the carbon replaced. @kellydans. If you want a filter that will last years and not a few grows. You may want to look at the mountain air filters. They are not cheap. But one of the best. I have a 40" x 6" It was 200 when I bought it a few years ago. It has been through a lot of grows.
Thanks @Not2SureYet that’s good to know I’ve been buying the phresh the last one was 159.00 I will definitely check them out. I’ve tried a couple of the cheaper filters they just don’t get it.
