Wow what an education

The equation you presented is way wrong… hold on…

That light is very reasonable for a 2x4. 2.9 umol/w is great!

Wouldn’t even have to use the sf1000 with it but you could.

As for the autos, it completely depends on the genetics and how much work you want to put in.

Here’s a couple gorilla glue autos loaded with problems in a 2x2 (27”x27” because I thought I could) and had to move them to a 2x4

And just for more info here is 2 sf1000s in a 27x27

Yeah, my 2x2 was true 24"x24".

I was going to attempt 2 plants in 3 gal pots in there and thought better of it. I expect them to even get fairly tight in the 2x3 but very manageable with some training…

Thanks @Low i got the super mix pack from ILGMA that include the gorilla glue autos. Hate to see u had problem but that’s what I’m going to be running into a space problem. Was going to upgrade to a 4x2 would be enough room for the 3 autos in 5 gallon fabric pots. In your opinion would the sf-1000 and viparspec xs1500 be enough to light up that area? Was planning on adding a red light for flower ? If necessary?

@CygnusX1

The 1500 will be tight, but with the sf1000 would be ok.

I’d run 3 gallon pots if you insist on 3 gg autos.

Just know the yield will be the same whether you run 2 or 3.

 This…

AND plan on some training, and plan on very good airflow. I’d run 2 in 5 gallons and fill out the space. It will be MUCH easier to manage the needs of 2 plants. I had my hands full with one in my first grow…

This will be VERY important.

No, more than likely would not see a difference. Most led boards come with red already.

With 300 watt led in a 2x4 I pulled a little over 12 oz off gorilla glue max capability 17 with my light, with the light combo your planning you’d be running around 250 watts. 8-11 oz if you do it correctly.

But you could pull 10oz+ in a 27x27 with 2 sf1000 fixtures if you played the cards right. Half the footprint. Just sayin.

Thanks a lot guys, I starting to now understand the 2 vs 3 plant same yield. First timer y’all know huge learning curve really appreciate @Low @CygnusX1

Would give you more light for about the same price.
