I have plants growing outside and pretty much organically. They are flowering now and I started cutting the yellowing leaves and the ones that were beginning to yellow. I haven’t noticed any slowing down of my flowering
Has anyone had experience with trimming during flowering?

Many growers do. Defoliate as necessary to maintain good airflow within the plant’s canopy. The plant otherwise needs its leaves.

During flower some strains eat leaves. Change the colors etc. I typically yank them when all the way gone. Just a touch typically dislodges them. As long as a smooth transition and not a rapid decline in many showing a problem just letem be cannabis. If just starting to yellow they are still making energy. The plant will leech nutrients stored in unneeded foliage. Just what I see with all the strains I grow.

2 of my outdoor plants have started yellowing on the bottom. They are 2 weeks older than the other 3.
I just let them fall off. The plants look good and are budding.
Is it better to trim them in people’s opinions?
I find if I don’t remove them as they die off then it promotes mold and later in flower , bud rot

Thanks. I planted to close together so my intent was got air circulation and sunlight all around. I have several small limbs with small cola’s those I will probably harvest early for the cod content.

Similar situation here with yellow leaves
Not sure how to proceed with these lol I prob trimmed them down to much just before flower. Should I get rid of those or not?
Buds look decent from what I can see. Just by looking at the pistils you might be getting close to the finish line. I’d stick it out at this point. What do the trichomes look like?

Uh oh. I’m certainly no expert but I did find similar damage on mine as I was harvesting. I pulled the affected bud, discarded the damaged area plus a bit more (anything that’s salvageable will go to canna butter) and did an inspection of all bud sites. I did come across three caterpillars. Did a thorough budwash after removing fan leaves and a preliminary haircut before hanging up. Only lost a couple grams.
