Will this plant make it?

This plant started out well, an autoflower white widow https://ilgmforum.com/t/my-af-white-widow-is-outgrowing-my-grow-tent/101846 But all of the fan leaves have turned yellow and fallen off. The buds have gotten quite large and numerous, and I keep hoping to see the sticky specks forming but so far nothing and the white hairs seem to have stopped changing to brown. This plant started around May 7th, is in 5 gal bags, with LED lights of white and red. I have lately been feeding it Bergman’s Flower Time, as well as bone meal/Epson salt every few days. PH is in the zone at 6.5.
Thanks!

A silica supplement helps increase trichome production. She will harvest. If using a bloom nute you should be covered on p/k. I really do not see any major issues from the picture. Her nails are painted so she is taking up nutes very well.

agree with @Storm, she is getting closer to her harvest time. The bigger her buds get, the more likely she will keep drooping over, so good thing yer staking them… will help not break any branches. I grew white widow a couple times, she alwya sseems to lose more color than other strains, in my opinion. I harvested mine when it looked basically dead and was some of the most insane herb I’ve grown. It looks just fine in my opinion!

She looks under feed to me, she looks hungry.
Idk anything about Bergman nutrients but if they aren’t readily available, I’d give her a nice dose of something balanced readily available NPK and micro nutrients with a good bit of run off.

All those fresh white hairs still, shes got a few weeks left :+1:

Good to know about silica. This is sold in gardening stores? I live in a tiny town of 2K and are very isolated so I may have to try to get some on Amazon, but that takes 10 days to get here…

That is so cool to hear, I can’t wait!!

I was thinking the same thing, but beings this is my very first attempt to grow weed (the 70’s don’t count!) I never know if I am over or under doing it. Bergman’s Flowertime is N16 P6 K30. I was unable to get CalMag so went with bone meal and epson. Flying blind here, but she seems to be forgiving me of all my mistakes thus far!

That will be outstanding! I have a Wedding Cake AF growing right beside the Widow that I am looking forward to trying . She’s about 3 weeks behind the Widow

So interesting to me how I planted these White Widows on the same day as the indoor White Widow, but outside on a balcony porch facing south. Been very cool spring and summer but they sure look healthy. I really haven’t fussed with these outdoor plants much because I was pretty sure the climate here was going to do them in anyway.

I made these little mini greenhouses to try to keep them from getting too cold…`

You might be able to find a silica supplement at your local hardware or greenhouse. If not then Amazon would be the way to go. Silica blast is tried and true.

I found it on Amazon, but they won’t ship it to Alaska, or at least my area. I tried all the different silica fertilizers and it was the same. Weirdness keeps rearing its ugly head! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: I’m going to give the Ace hardware a visit tomorrow. Thanks everyone for your input and advice. Can’t wait to try this puppy out!

@Arktikos
Try ebay maybe if you want
Idk that it will work but it’s likely to be buying from a private individual that would ship it anywhere, maybe :man_shrugging:

diatomaceous earth is basically silica.

Needs to be water soluble silica, I don’t think the plants can access the silica in DE

Check BuildASoil. All of their supplements have been top notch for me. It’s a tad more expensive since they’ve taken off tho. And their emails are annoying but :man_shrugging:t5:

She’s still pretty early into flowering to start getting the harvest fade. You’re going to want something more bloom specific then 16-6-30. Something lower N and higher P would be my preference.

The clawed leaves normally mean too much N.

And the banana coloring is not enough bloom. She looks good all in all. But this is the most important time in a grow. I try to hit on all cylinders at this stage.
