I’m currently growing an auto cheese in FF OF & strawberry fields. ph water to 5.9-6.1, shes about 4 - 5 weeks, I’m thinking of bending her…. Please tell me what yall think

FYI. Proper ph for the strawberry fields is 6.3 - 6.8.
Same for the OF.
Curious Why so low going in ?

Id tie it here (white line) so it doesnt grow like this (green line). And maybe there yellow line but looks like you dont need it

I read info that said the pH should be between 5.8-6.5 for the best nutrient uptake…. And to start lower and work your way up…. Just my 2nd grow…… any corrected info and new tips appreciated…. What should I be running my pH at when going in? My soil is 50/50 OF and SF

I would only bend what feels soft and rubbery and not far all at once

I’d aim for 6.5 as the sweet spot.

Hey welcome to the community stick around ! We like to see everybody have a successful grow. My first thoughts plant stretching a bit for light. You might need to lower the light down some. Just my thoughts good luck.

Don’t be nervous about lst. After a few runs I’m really aggressive with lst and defoliation. You have to get it done before it’s too late and risk branches snapping. Especially if using silica. I’ve done side by side tests and I yeild way more by defol and lst. I find if I’m not aggressive they grow too fast and it becomes a real pain later. I’ve been lazy and get really bushy plants. You won’t hurt them. I promise.

Yup. Just keep pulling her down and make her grow back towards the light. In the time she does that spread her branches out and tie them down so you can see the main stalk in the middle. Like a hair part. Just keep up with that and you’ll be surprised how even the canopy gets and instead of your main cola you’ll have 8 that are way taller than the main. Good work! They do look like they could use a bit more light as well. Maybe just the pic but get the photon app it’s a good reference to your required dli/ppfd

It must be the picture, yeah I love that app! I don’t think I needed to buy a more expensive light for my 2nd grow but I did…. But now that I have 2 tents going I have a light for both! 
. But that app made me realize my other light was fine… so now I have a sayhon from Amazon… dimmable and she is on some seedlings. I have an hlg r200 I believe…. And she’s on these girls.

Pretty much what I’m about to do as well. Have a spider farmer sf-4000 in a 4x4 but after using autopots my autos are massive and the light isn’t enough. So I’m ordering a spider farmer g8600 and a 5x5 so now I’ll use the old tent for seedlings and do the perpetual harvest.

Lst is about the only training you want to do until you get familiar with autos.
