I am also in northeast Ohio. Most of my plants are just stretching right now, but have a Sweet Tartz that already has hedgehogs. Last year I started flowering August 12th.

You grow looks like it could produce some nice buds.

I don’t know much, as I’m pretty new to all of this, but these plants look great to me. Looks like you will get some great buds from these.

Is this a problem? Id barely call this flowering and some show rust colored hairs. Its still over 15 hours of daylight why flower? Should i be worried its going in between veg and flowering?

Not quite flowering yet. Plants look great. I have 4 photos growing now in NEO. One is in flower and the other three are very similar to yours. Still a couple weeks out.

Ty for the responses. I guess ill stop the flowertime fertilizer. I hope im not running out of time with with the flowering cycle. Im worried about mold with cold weather and rain. I’d hate to have to harvest early due to weather.

Agrees! I had quite a bit of bud rot last year…but still got 6lbs from my 5 plants. I sprayed with PureCrop1 and Dr. Zymes every other day. I also bought a huge pedestal fan and ran it on the plants whenever it was not raining. Shook the plants real good after rains and even sometimes dried them with a leaf blower.

I needed to change things.

This year I went from 45 gallon pots to 10 gallon pots to keep the plants more manageable. I have 4 photos, but one of them is known to flower early so I already have tops on it, but the other three look just like yours…likely to finish in late October. They are all Indicas so they finish earlier than sativas.

Because of the bud rot I gave a shot at autos. I am harvesting 2 on Friday and another two in a couple weeks.

The heartbreak of bud rot in our area is real.

What part of NEO are you from?

Astabula county. So nothing to worry about some of the white hairs turning oarnge even though not really in flowering cycle? Also i could bring the plants inside my garage when it rained heavy. That might help? Kind of a pain in the ass but if its worth it ill do it it’s only 5 plants.

I was just in Ashtabula today. I live over in Geauga County…so we are practically neighbors.

No worries about the orange hairs…they come and go. You can bring the plants inside when it rains…will be helpful in October when it rains for days at a time. I am harvesting two autos tomorrow and put them in the garage yesterday to avoid this rain. They are my first autos ever.

Last year my plants were so big, bringing them in was not an option. Those PVC cages are over 10 feet tall and 5 feet wide.

Nice plants. Ive been thinking about bringing back inside. They were inside about 2,5 months when they went outside. I have a 1000w hps with full spectrum bulb. If i gave them 12/12 and they quit growng i could have about 2ft above the tallest. Kind of hot but i like indoor plants . Just dont have a great spot indoors. Yes we are neighbors, many many years ago i lived in chesterland. I think i was 5 or 6.

Well i didn’t want to make another post. So ill show off 2 of my clones here. No of the tops made it this year, they turned brown and rotted right btmy the peat plug. Last year about 7 of 8 made it but my plants turned yellow and i gave up. These are grom the bottom 2 branches . These are the 1st 2 that showed roots i hope i didnt por and bring outside thier dark cave. A dishpan with Styrofoam lid. Terrible i know.

On her way!

What up . I just noticed your ohio grower thread and saw the bud rot pics from last year. Ill probably be bringing mine inside my garage on rainy days and maybe nightly when the flowers come. I don’t like dew either. Also frost. I tried sour diesel this year. So thier sativa dominate. I’m kind of nervous this is probably the nicest my plants looked outdoor this late.

We have been lucky the last few weeks with the dry weather, but the humidity is a bitch. I am hoping to stay on top of things this year and avoid bud rot…I know, famous last words.
