I posted asking how are my plants are doing like 3 weeks ago, and only got a few people who answered. Last year when I grew in my yard, the plants got to be around 7 ft tall, and got a good yield off the plants. Two weeks later I went and checked my plants and a few of them are starting to flower.
They are only 2-3 ft tall and not very bushy.
I thing I figured out the problem with the grow. The soil is just not very good at the new place, and will have to make adjustments for next year.
Is there anything I can do to help this yield be better?
I know I cut more trees so they got more light, and started feeding them fox farm. If you know anything about fox farm I am only using step one and two, not the third step. Can someone tell me why they are flowering already? Thank you!!
Them are feminized seed or autoflowering strain?
Maybe because the light is decreasing (summer is almost over, depending where you are )
Hi @Larry815 , I have 9 plants and 4 of them are flowering , they outside and in 15 gallon pots , the other5 ,which are a different stain but only slowing listings for about2 weeks now

They have started because of dwindling light hours. Nothing you can do to increased yield while in flower.
Would recommend you start the tiger bloom now, they will need the pk to bulk up. Looks like it snuck up on ya this year, but chin up there’s always next season
Im with @Nug-bug
I’m going to guess it a light issue they are getting to much shade and it’s triggering the plants to flower
How many hours of direct sun are you getting @Larry815
They are Feminized, thats what I used last year and had really good results. I know the summer is coming to a end, but I am still getting around 13-14 hours of light a day. Thanks for answering, When im working i cant get to this site. just wanted to let you know i was not blowing you off!
I am growing my right in the dirt.
This is a new spot for me, I already know I have improvements to make for next year. I guess this was a learning year!
I will start Tiger the next time im out there.
I think i was thrown off cause the plants are so small compared to last year, and they are in a new spot!
Yes that is what I was thinking also. They were getting about 4-6. I cut a space out in the woods, and thought there would be enough light.
They are getting light but just not enough, i do agree, but you know you just want to hear it from someone else.
I have already started scouting out new spots for next year, that get alot more sun, and I have found a spot, But I think I will not be able to grow as many plants as I really want to.
Thank you for agreeing with me!!!
Outside can be a challenge my friend
I use a green house on the back of my property to hide them but still have them in a clearing
Not sure if that’s an option for you or not
I have 2-1/2 acres so But I’m in a legal state either lol
I have had plants start to flower just because they wer so thick there was no light getting to those branches. Probably was getting too much shade.
I think its from not enough light, I thought I cleared enough trees to give them plenty of light, and planting in a wooded area, i was thinking, the soil would be good, well now i find out its crap, thats why i started using my fox farm.
Next year planning already, going to grow in a different spot with alot more light, and going to do a ton of amending to the soil
LOL if I try and grow in a greenhouse, that i do plan on putting on the property, everyone is gonna want to see what im growing in the greenhouse, so that will be no good for me.
Maybe in a year or two when the house and property is not new anymore, i might be able to get away with growing in the greenhouse.
I just has really good results last year and thought I had it down, now i know its always a learning experience.
