Hey you guys ! Check me out! I accidentally clipped off a bud spot, it’s been 9 days ago. I didn’t really know what to do with it so I just took off the leaves and stuck it into some dirt inside a plastic bag with a wet paper towel. Laid it outside of the bottom window of my tent with a 2 way stick light holding the flap open for heat and light. I haven’t even opened the bag since I put it in there until a few minutes ago, AND IT HAS A ROOT! Can you just believe that?! Idek what plant it came off of. Lol! I’m so excited. Aren’t y’all super stoked too?! Yay Me! Ok. I’m done. Just had to tell somebody, you know. Good night Moon
Awesome! I tried cloning last summer for my first time… I was amazed.
I dipped a bunch, like you didn’t know which were which, in clone solution and stuck them in rapid rooters in a propagator… Holy smokes! I did a bunch thinking most would fail… Next thing I know I’m struggling for room with 9.
Yeah, I just thought about that about an hour ago. I have 6 Photos going and just germed 4 autos and have at least the 1 clone but put 4 more out tonight. I have a 5x6’ tent. Lol! Might have to put some outside somewhere.
Congrats!! Cloning is fun and addictive lol i remember 5yrs ago my 1st go at it i took 22 cuts and ended up with 20 successful clones i was hooked from there and have tried multiple ways of cloning now its always fun lol
Ihy. Well damn, all these success stories I don’t feel quite so special anymore. Lol!
First child is always awesome. I have a hindu kush and a jack herer seedling going straight to mother right now myself. You will get hooked. MUCH faster turnaround and if a perfect mother you typically get perfect clones. Genetics dont vary.
Welp, she went into her forever home just now. I was gonna wait but then went yo look and make sure that I saw a root because she was looking sickly on top of the soil. Then before I could get her into her hole the dirt fell off of her so there’s a great shot of her tap and other roots. I am absolutely AMAZED that this gal took root. I mean, I accidentally clipped her off and just put her into some random dirt I had from a whatever. No root stuff. Nothing. Just dirt and a ziploc bag for 9 days. Now we’ll see if she takes off or not.
Question… Are clones like the same as revegetation? With regard to the timing to harvest? Or do I treat her like I would a seedling.
Heck, I’ve done no studying as I never dreamt I’d even have one to mess with. Was just a fleeting moment choice to put her into the dirt. I never expected to put her anywhere else but into the trash.
