Harvest congrats - that’s a labor of love right there, but oh the rewards!
The new bunch look amazing. What I noticed in the group shot of the big pots was without my glasses on, if I squint a little those look like sushi rolls. I think I’m hungry now…

Great job man it looks amazing in there I know it’s a lot of work I cuss myself out Everytime I water. Like why did I cram 9 plants in a 4 x 4 again!

How that working for yu? @TMC.PRE
9 plants in a 4x4? Lol yu must got a really good light!

I love my light. It’s a commercial grade light

Photontek 600w pro it’s expensive but it’s hard to replicate the sun so you really need a high quality light.
I feel like I fought and fought and fought my grows until I got a good light and all of a sudden majority of problems vanished after purchasing a commercial light. I truly believe alot of plant problems people have is because of not enough light.

Also the more plants in a area you just add more fans lololol.

Every time I go back to coco after a grow in soil I’m amazed all over again at how freaking fast they grow. Today is day 15 for these girls, and 4 days since they were transplanted into their final pots.
I’m trying to get used to the new base nutrients, but I haven’t got things dialed in completely yet. The Yeti Wedding is showing a bit of a magnesium deficiency, and they all have a slightly hungry appearance to them. I’ve been raising the EC of their feedings every morning and every evening, but obviously not by enough.
When I bought the Sensi Coco Grow and Bloom A’s & B’s, I thought I’d save a few bucks on the grow because it’s less expensive than the Connoisseur line I’ve been using for years, but now I’m realizing that I need to use considerably more of it to get to the same EC values, so it’s probably going to cost more in the end, lol.

Once you transplant do you consider that day one of veg?

I consider them in veg once they have a few nodes, usually a little before transplant time, I’d say around day 6 or 7 above ground on average.

@Cap_Ron
Im gonna try my hand at clones soon. What feeding schedule to you feed the mother through the whole process? And at what time do you put her into flower and move on? This is my mother plant im gonna be using.
Thanks.

I haven’t done any cloning in several years since I’ve been growing autos, but I know they make nutrient lines specifically for mother plants. You want to give the mother plant less nitrogen than you would give other plants so they store more sugars and carbohydrates. Other than that, I don’t really remember that much about keeping mother plants, it’s been a long time for me.

Thanks man. Off hand do you remember the line of nutrients you talked about?

I’m sure there has to be a few companies making something similar by now, but I know of HDI Industries and they have a 2 part base called “Mother Plant”.

Little late to the show @Cap_Ron. Can’t wait to see what you do with coco. I’m wanting to try it when I go to autopots. Really interested in seeing the difference between the size of the pots.

From the day they pop the dirt in the Solo cup I give them 10 days and transplant. I call that day one of veg.

After 4 weeks of veg they start their 32-months of flowering stage until I see Amber.

I set my alarm clock for 6:30 a.m. every morning to feed them

Ok, sorry for the lack of updates, but things will be much easier now that the last grow is finally trimmed and jarred, and I’ll update that other journal today as well with all the final results.

These girls all seem to be pretty darn happy. The Yeti Wedding has a bit of an attitude to her, but I’m starting to figure her out. She seems to want considerably more magnesium than any other plant I’ve grown to date. Everyone else is happy with the base nutrients and the additives I use, but she seems to need some Epsom Salt added every other day.

Anyway, I’ll definitely start doing better updates with more pics now that I’ll have plenty of free time again, but please feel free to ask any specific questions about anything I don’t remember to mention.

The 6 in the big pots, it’s day 19 for these little girls!

And the 12 in their little 1 gal pots.

It turned out that 12 was way too many, even in 1 gal pots, to all fit under the 350R in my 2 1/2 x 5 tent. So I set up the tent with the 350R as the main light, and then put the 300Rspec all the way on the end where I normally just keep fans, a heater, and a humidifier. This messes up my plans in 2 ways. It’s no longer a good comparison between the 2 big plants I’d usually have in here and the bunch of small ones because now these girls have 2 grow lights, so there’s almost no doubt the tent will produce more this way. The other problem is that I won’t be able to set up my nursery tent near the end of this grow to get my normal jump start on the next one because my spare fixture won’t be available. The Rspec is what I use in there. So it looks like I’ll have a short rest period at the end of this one! Even with the 2 fixtures I’m not sure that I’ll be able to keep all 12 of these. If I have to get rid of any, I have no idea how in the world I’ll choose who gets axed. They all look great, it will be a heartbreaker to have to kill off any of them.
