I have about a month to go and I’m going to stop for a couple of months until it cools off some. Florida is too hot to grow inside during the summer. I’m hoping these will be good enough to last me. Weed is funny like that. I noticed you have a dehumidifier or something in your grow. Does it help with anything? My room is 75f and 45% Rh at 12 noon. How would it help my grow?
That’s exactly what I’m worried about. I’ve never grown anything and messed up on even germination of my seeds I ordered. I think I didn’t calibrate my ph meter correctly and threw everything off.
Oh yea thats a dehumidifier not in my grow tent right now only put it in when curing and lights off because my humidity will go to like 75 if i turn light off and keep it dark since the summer here, right now temps are 79-80 on 600 watt i cranked it down from 1000 watts and humidity stays from 50-56, what nute line you running pump those things with more flowering nutes get them frosty!!!
I run General hydroponics 3 part flora series. Supplement with armor si and koolbloom and Epsom salt. They got a mag deficiency in 1 a week ago so started the Epsom salt.
Run a better line up and get some calmag
I’ve got calmag but decided not to use it because I’m running hard water with plenty of calcium. Just waited to see mag deficiency and add magso4. Yours looks like they need some more potassium and phosphorus. Unless you’re going for the yellow leaf margins and reddish stem look. Considering your in flowering I’d drop that line of nutrients and get something like what I use. ![]()
Yea they do im not running this line anymore i give different things a try this was the fox farm trio and its poop
I think the General hydroponics floral series is damn good for the money. My plants are drinking more than a gallon a day and only problem I have had is a little magnesium deficiency in 1 of 3 plants under a 1000 watt hps light on a light rail. The plants are covered in frost and they still have another month or so to go. You’ll be hard pressed to find nutrients as good and I doubt you’ll ever find anything better. Just saying
Was going to try advanced nutes, sensi grow, bloom, and micro after
Just a marketing strategy to capture the dollars of people that think if they pay more for something they will get more. They cover all the nutrients a plant needs. The stuff has been around for a long time. Many of the others are the same basic ingredients with a cool label.
I try to keep it simple. I go by the directions and add armor si until budding then I add koolbloom. If I ran RO or distilled water I’d use CALiMAGic but I don’t. I use tap water and it has a
load of calcium. Sometimes they run into mag deficiency if so they get Epsom salt. I might just start giving them Epsom salt from the beginning. I’m still thinking about that one though. I’ve tried the other stuff and I always come back to General hydroponics floral series.
The one main stem on mine is turning purple going to flush with big bloom and tiger bloom in a day
You’re plants and starving. What’s you ph? It might be locked up. Flush it good and feed it. Are you growing in soil or hydro
Soil i feed them every other watering
Do you know what your ph is
7 for all of them and thats the only one starting to have purple stem
Yeah you wanna flush and get your ph down a bit. Always ph everything you give them to a ph of around 6.5.
I grow hydroponic so soil isn’t my strong suit but you’ll be okay if you flush with 6.5 water and feed them a regular dose of nutrients at 6.5.
So whats making my stem purple
The purple leaf stems is a phosphorus deficiency. The yellow leaf margins and curling is potassium deficiency. Assuming you are feeding them they are probably locked up from a ph problem and 7 is high for soil.
When I mix up my nutrients they are 6.5 before I ph down to 5.8. You might need to get the stuff I use.
I’m gonna send you a pic that shows you the nutrients and the ph that they are absorbed by your plants at.
If you don’t know how to adjust your ph I’ll explain it to you just let me know.
Get you some water and bring ph to 6.2 and flush. It might take several gallon but when it’s runnoff is about 6.5 give them nutrients that have a ph of 6.5.
Like I said my nutrients when mixed are 6.5 before I drop them down to a ph of 5.8.
Btw You don’t flush with bloom nutrients. If you have any questions just let me know
