Your plant looks great. Do you have any normal zoom of the plant?

More pictures are above earlier in the chat.

Looking very nice. Keep doing what you’re doing. :+1:t3:

Na something is wrong they look good but there is nothing there “larf” structure or density… I’m moving to promix so we’ll just have to see

What’s the power on those 3 leds you mentioned?

If i remember correctly 28w full spectrum and I am running three of them in a 3’.5 x 4’.5…
I was worried at first wasn’t sure it would carry through veg… still not but when I hit flower i had to dump one and ascend to top. I’m experiencing alot of burn but not bad because I caught it… my buds are just beautiful but “larfie” larfa’fe" what I’m calling it

That is a total of 84w. From my understanding, that is way too little power for flowering. That is why you have the airy buds. I, too, had only about 95w my first grow and got some airy buds as well. I have upgraded to 200w (with dimmer) actual power draw at the outlet and not what the seller describes. So far I am seeing much better bud development on this second grow.

There is so much to learn about lights. I know that @dbrn32 is very knowledgeable and has shared lots of information on lights.

Here is some info from an older post:

As you can see, 150w will be good for only a 2’ x 2’ space (this is what I am in).

I think a high quality light will be one of the most expensive parts of growing.

This is another thread with some really good information:

Did you have the lights very low? You said you had “alot of burn?”

I hope this helps you out.

Keep posted. :+1:

18"-24" above canopy. And I didn’t get burn until 1st flower…
I had numerous problems with this first grow…
Lost two girls beginning do to (soil lock) i make up names sorry. Couldn’t get air through the medium inturn makes quick sands of death sucks your plant away… seedlings a 3 gallon soil pot… only thing I’m saying is , don’t drown the girls, don’t drown the girls… room and equipment failures… my cat trying to steel my stash etc. Real bummer but I’m gonna keep my head up and “aaw” try and figure out the light situation… because that has just shut down everything… back to square one… thanks guys I do appreciate you and your time… thank you

It’s definitely a large space for small amount of lighting you have.

Well they are led full spectrum grow lights and it seemed fine though veg… aren’t you supposed to raise them higher when they flower. If its burning them is that not enough light I did say I have 3 of them burning at 28W each. That just sounds extremely weak. I was just really hoping that it eas one of the many of other problems that may be responsible. I dont have that kind of dough…

Just about every grow light you see will be “full spectrum” anymore. The term doesn’t mean much, just that some amount of light from each group of par region is represented.

Your grow space is almost 16 ft², basically same as a 4x4. If you compare to best led tech available, those fixtures are recommending about 500 watts ti flower on 12 hour schedule. Using less efficient leds, it should really be 1.5-2 times that.

You might be able to get one plant under all three to produce some flowers, but they will be airy and light, IMHO.

As I said, I did my first grow with a 100w +/-5w. I did get a harvest which I am very proud of (first time parent kind of thing!) With my second grow, currently, growing one plant in a 2x2 space with about 200w. Plant is really liking that set up! I’m hoping for a much better result. Still many thigs I am learning as well, but getting my hands wet/dirty, and doing the best. I read almost everything posted, read growing journals, and try to learn. Definitely back in school-type vibe! But never this much fun!

Keep growing and learning. Keep good records of what you do and the results for future reference.

Thanks @dbrn32 for the help with lights.
