Harvest congratulations Sir @Strungthru
Thank you @kaptain3d this on i am excited for!!
The leaves looked like they were shiny/waxy with nitrogen toxicity, but when i was cutting them, the shiny came off on my hands!?! Its like the plant was covered in a stinky oil!
I smoked that little bud i chopped off 3 days ago to sample the lemon G. It has a very bright citrus notes upfront but that is followed by the chlorophyll taste. That goes away, holy crap this is tasty!!
I bagged my lemon gs up at 11.7%rh on the moisture meter!
I got almost 10oz from one plant!!
The buds are so fluffy i had to weige to piles!
Batch one
Batch two
It half filled a lb grove bag!
Im one happy camper, smores and all!!
Congratulations
Bravo
That’s a nice pile buddy
Bet it smokes pretty badass too
I’d hit that
Hi @Strungthru I saw on Merlin’s page that it’s your canniversary, and your first, Happy Canniversary!
And harvest congrats!
I’ve grown (autos) super lemon haze and a lemon skunk x diesel cross from our late Lacewing, I love those, both the flavors and effects.
I was gifted a lemon skunk auto, think I’ll add it for consideration to grow after my current grow is done/near done.
Anyway, I’m set to Watching!
Welcome to thread man! this is my summer lemon run, where im growing two lemony strains, but they are different flavors all together!
That lemon cheese definitely has the cheese funk from what i have smoked of it, but i have never had an at home (better) grown version of it.
I have never had lemon skunk, but have always wanted to try and grow it out!
Thanks, I look forward to it!
I just noticed that your BOM pic looks to be sideways.
If so, maybe AfgVet can let you re-post or something.
Edit: I just saw that it was suppercropped and intended to be sideways … nevermind!
My ’s are getting bigger! I had to prop up the lemon skunk because the leaves are so big compared to the stim that it is leaning a little lol
I took some one of the sour diesel autos and an apple fritter auto out of the grow room they were hanging in because they were hanging for almost 2 weeks and still at 19%rh. I chopped them off the stems and placed them on this screen to dry better in a different location.
The grow room was close to 80%rh all last week
( posted this in the wrong thread, but its ok)
Window screens are awesome for this btw! You could easliy make a drying tower with small widow screens , and two panel boards with slits cut in them evenly to slide the window screens in horizontally. !! Like a bakers rack!
Look at those buds, I gotta get me a meter for the check..one day I’ll make the investment.
You can definitely see a difference in leaf shape atleast
The Lemon Skunk is a 50% sativa/50 indica hybrid.
The Franco’s Lemon Cheese is a 60% Sativa/ 40% indica.
Sativa has the skinnier leaf, correct? It sure looks like it with these two setting next to one another.
