What's wrong with this?

Strain; Type, Bag seed, or NA: AK47

Soil in pots, Hydroponic, or Coco? Soil FFOC

PH of runoff or solution in reservoir? 6.3 going in 5.8 run ofg

What is strength of nutrient mix? EC, or TDS around:TDS2005

Indoor or Outdoor: Indoor

Light system, size? 2 300 W LED T5

Temps; Day, Night: 78° day 67°night

Humidity; Day, Night:around 38%

AC, Humidifier, De-humidifier: Dehumidifier

This popped up around 3 days ago. Not sure if it is a calcium or magnesium deficiency. Looked it up and can’t tell from the charts if deficiency. Any help would be great.

Your soil PH is too low which looks to be causing calcium deficiency and maybe some nitrogen toxicity (leaves clawing).

Run higher PH water thru to bring up the soil PH.

And your TDS is a bit high, I’d skip a feeding (just use plain water and some cal-mag) and recheck.

Thanks I will give it a try.

Always good to get a couple opinions just to be safe

Ya in gonna double check my soil ph level tomorrow and start from there.

Mathew said it best, low ph and high TDS, maybe a good flush with 6.5ph plain water would benefit

@Matthew420 is 100%

Thanks for posting a new topic and support ticket. Makes all the difference!

This chart shows it pretty well

I’m also in agreement with @Matthew420
If you water at say 6.9 or 7 ph this should raise soil ph to around 6.3/6.4
Once you clear up ph issues you should see them bounce back

Sorry to hijack this topic, but I have just joined and cannot see how to start a post. The only way I can seem to communicate is to Reply to someone else. How do you create a post to ask a growing question? Thanks in advance.

I think you have to be on the forum a few hours before you can post. But basically you navigate to categories and then a sub category and then in the upper right corner will be “+ New Topic”

Read some posts and like some of them all helps bud cred! @belsyz

Has anyone mentioned to get out the microscope and check under leafs for bugs?

I was thinking the same thing! Get a strong magnifying lens and look for tiny little bugs. Another way to find them is to hold a white bowl or paper under a leaf, then gently tap or shake the leaf. Look on the paper and see if anything fell off the leaf. Spider mites are so small you need a magnifying lens to see them. They just look like specks of dust on a piece of paper, but will cause those yellow pinpricks on your plant leaves. @belsyz

Hey boy! Trust me. This is no spider mites! No bugs? Don’t use time and money for find any cause. This is a calcium deficiencie. Check your PH in soil and add a cal-mag nute!
Ask some expert how solve the problem.
And remember next growth don’t make this error:grin::grin::grin::grin: good luck!

@Teddy78

If the pH is below 6.5 none of those will absorb.

Yes that is what it is displaying but the cause is improper pH. Adding more nutrients will not solve the problem If the pH is not corrected.

I hope that is what you are saying (english not primary language) but I think the way your response is worded it implies that we don’t know what we are talking about.:v::palm_tree::+1:

Sorry for my English. I write often in topics that my language is not good. Yes it is so as you tell me. I write to check ph value. And sintoms are calcium deficiencies caused by ph imbalance or feeding without this element. My opinion is that is not spider mites or any bugs. In last of the topic I write for asking an expert because I am not . But sure there are no spider mites. I want help this people to a fast solution and no lost time, money and health of him and plants using pesticides when it not need it.
Sorry for misunderstanding caused by my bad English but I believe you are intelligent and understood what I want write .
Sorry again @bob31

I will write better in future I am sure :grin::grin: and will respects all forum rules! I hope:joy::joy::joy:
@bob31 thanks for the ph and nutrients label.
I will save it and make a big poster in my grow room to remember value

So I put in 7.04 ph water and it came out at 5.84 ph. Now do I keep watering at a ph of like 7 until it comes up? And do I wait a few days inbetween watering? Thanks everyone.
