Purtty ladies you got there!
Whistle Log, 152 year anniversary of Susan B. Anthony’s arrest for voting. Everyone has rebounded nicely from yesterday evening’s contortionist exercises. No signs of stress that I notice.
Hey @DoneDeal she has come a long way since I borrowed your pruning technique!
@FishWhistleLabs Damn just damn …
Nice work Growmie
Whistle Log, 155th anniversary of the first college football game. The green machine continues rolling! Everbody looks fantastic and is responding well to LST. The itch to feed my soul dwellers gnaws at me daily. I am resisting the urge, but to say it is easy would be a lie.
I am having trouble deciding on some defoliation. Do you guys think I should cut the circled areas? They arent going to get any taller i dont think and they recieve very little light. Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated.
Whistle Log, 696 month anniversary of John Lennon meeting Yoko Ono. Yesterday marked 28 days for Lucy, Gurtie, and Monica. All 3 continue with excellent growth, but Monica seems the most aggressive. I think next watering I will begin feeding.
Blue Dream Baby Queen is flowering. Lots of bud sites. Other than some minor equipment malfunctions, my first DWC experiment has gone quite well thus far. Hopefully it continues through flower.
Whistle Log, Gordon Ramsey’s 58th Birthday. I began feeding Lucy, Gurtie, and Monica this morning. I was seeing signs of deficiencies so I began with Lotus Nutrients week 2 veg feeding schedule as well as the usual silica and Cleankelp.
Blue Dream Baby Queen is positively glowing. Bud sites are plentiful and healthy
Whistle Log, 35th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Take that communism. Moderate panic in the lab today, but it was quickly curtailed by awesome growers @StonedCold13 @Boogy @MidwestGuy @Oldguy This community is the best.
Blue Dream Baby Queen is flowering nicely. I noticed today there are already trichomes forming on the leaves.
Lucy, Gurtie, and Monica seem steady after their first feeding. No noticeable signs of stress as of yet.
Whistle Log, my beautiful Queen’s REDACTED Birthday. Happy Birthday, Love!
Unless my eyes decieve me, Blue Dream Baby Queen really stretched over night. Thinngs are really starting to get exciting. Bud sites are aplenty. She is now consuming a little over a half gallon a day.
Although she hasnt got much press, DD the Durban Clone is flowering nicely. She is starting it put on weight and sugar up.
Planties looking good!

Thank you, Sir! They are coming along!
Whistle Log, Veteran’s Day. Hooyah Vets, thank you for your Service!
This morning, my wife arose at 0630 and as she was on her way to give me my morning smooch asked, “Did you smoke one already?” I hadn’t yet and kind of snickered at her, and she said when she came out of the bedroom it reeked of weed. I investigated and sure enough it did. No smoke, it was just Blue Dream Baby Queen letting everyone know she’s flowering!
Whistle Log, 225th anniversary of the first recorded meteor shower in North America.
I think I stressed my dirt dwellers into flower. Although i am not 100% sure. What are your thoughts @MidwestGuy ?
Blue Dream Baby Queen is definitely stretching. I added just over 1/2 a gallon to her bucket this morning.
Whistle Log, 42nd anniversary of the dedication of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.
No morning session today in the lab. I played hooky to go chase Steelhead up Nort Der. Landed 2, my first of the season!
Everyone is the lab is flowering! I guesstimate they should all finish up within a couple weeks of each other. 5 plants is going to be a lot of trimming. In the end, its a small sacrifice to thè cannagods!
Whistle Log, 20,075 days since the launch of Apollo 12.
The headgehog invasion continues. Everyone is bursting with bud sites. Blue Dream Baby Queen seems to have finished her stretch, while the dirt dwellers are in the heat of it. An interesting observation. Blue Dream in DWC didnt begin flowering until the end of week 7, all three dirt dwellers, though 3 different strains, started at week 5 on the dot. Could be coincidence, could be grow medium.
Whistle Log, 218th anniversary of the discovery of Pike’s Peak by Zebulon Pike.
Not much to report today. Added 3/4 of a gallon to Blue Drean Baby Queen’s bucket. I really like Lotus Nutrients. PH is always on point even with the addition of Silica and Cleankelp. Happy Friday! Here’s some gratuitous hedgehog pics!
Whistle Log; 1,384,080 hours since Pierre Lallement patented the modern pedal bicycle.
Its been a hot minute. Adulting has kept me quite busy, the Holiday Season is upon us.
I burnt Blue Dream Baby Queen pretty badly. Lotus Nutrients schedule did her well UNTIL the addition of their Boost (1-15-30) to the mix. The Boost busted my streak of good luck. Right now she has a pretty inert reservoir, 5.8ph water, silica, and Cleankelp. She seems to be hanging in there, leaves are praying to the light. I hope she finishes, to lose her at this point would be rough.
The dirt dwellers are flowering like crazy and looking healthy. Today is feed day, no Boost for you! Today is day 41 for the trio, they say these strains average around 70 days sprout to harvest, but idk if they’ll go that long.
Whistle Log, Voltaire’s 330th Birthday.
I believe in my heart Blue Dream Baby Queen is on the mend. She has been drinking, so today I gave her some grub and also raised my light 2 inches. This left me with an average canopy ppfd of 700.
Lucy, Gurtie, and Monica are all flowering and healthy! They got fed yesterday and this morning there is a noticeable difference.
Some artsy shots of the Ladies
Purtty ladies!!
Thank you, Kind Sir!
Whistle Log, Black Friday.
Its been some time since my last entry. My Loverly requested that the kitchen be remodeled before the Holidays. Though a carpenter I am not, I obliged.
Blue Dream Baby Queen has entered week 11. She is slowly putting on weight. I notice her buds daily growth, but it is definitely gradual. I know my follies with the nute AND light burn didn’t help anything, but in all honesty she has been a slow moving plant since sprout. Her head was stuck in the hull for her first 10 days above ground and she has taken her time ever since. Despite it all I still think she is gorgeous.
The dirt dwellers are flowering proudly. I have some deficiencies I believe. Their appetite seems to stay just ahead of their nute schedule and I am admittedly nute shy after the Blue Dream incident. Grow autos they said. It will be easy they said. Ha! Alas, their nugs continue to chunk up nonetheless.
DD the Durban Poison clone is just about ready for chop. I am letting her get just a bit more coppery than her mother. For science. Her bud structure is pretty much identical to the mother’s as they should be, but better grow practices (I believe) have resulted is much thicker buds.
