What’s wrong with this 1?

Let’s hope.

The root odor had dissipated today in comparison to yesterday and they were much whiter then the brownish-beige tint it had going in.

Switched our water to RO. I’ll switch that tomorrow with a new pale of RO and cross my fingers.

WELL,

I ended up cutting that grow b/c the plants got exposed to light during the dark phase.

But, with that said, I am going to add to this thread as I am on a completely new grow and I have the same problems.

From the last one to this one, I complete cleaned the space, the system, sanitized, etc. to make sure I had everything in order then started the new grow.

EVERYTHING has looked perfect the entire way, until I begin to transition them and now that I am in early bloom, I have 4 of the 8 plants looking the same way.

So, my question is, do you think there is any of my nutrients that I am adding in during bloom that isn’t added during growth that could be causing the root rot problem?

The reason I ask is b/c both times I this has happened is when the moving from growth the flower/bloom. I most noticed the process in the beginning of the transition phase and it continued into bloom until I stopped last time. I figured that by cleaning and starting new that this wouldn’t show up but I am seeing it again and it has happened at the same time.

If I should get new chemicals for the two or three different ones I will but wanted to ask about others experience before doing so.

Thinking back this just stared with the new batch of chemicals I bought. Same GH brand so not sure but figured someone here would be able to lend some insight. I do know it is not bugs of any kind. Looks like the pictures above which I am certain was root rot last time and that cleared up so I am assuming I can get this under control as long as I am not reusing a nutrient/chemical that is possibly causing it… but why would it show up again at the same time during the cycle if not for something as such?

Which bottles, mixture recipe, and ph? Same as like post 5? That seems like too much, but only measured 800ish ppm?

Can you share some pictures? It’s hard to say for sure without being able to see what’s going on… :man_shrugging:

Also like db said, how much are you feeding?

Have you heard of the Lucas formula?

@NUG61 can help with that if you’ve never heard of it. :+1:t2::v::sunglasses:
Nug, post 5 shows what he was using. Waiting on update.

The above isn’t my mixture at the moment. Currently it is:

GH
Hydrogaurd 3-4ml/gal
Armor Si 2.5ml/gal
GH Flora Micro 7.5ml/gal
GH Flora Grow 5ml/gal
GH Flora Bloom 10ml/gal
Diamond Nector 5ml/gal
Flora Blend 5ml/gal
Cal-Mag 2.5ml/gal
FloraNectar 5ml/gal
Kool Bloom Liq. 2.5ml/gal

Humidity hovers between 40/45 -50/55%

What i know from the people around me that seem to be success with gh, they are mixing about 24ml total per gallon of water and adding a little bit of calmag to that. Is not to say your recipe won’t work, but it’s nearly double the amount of nutrients.

But the hydroguard needs to go last or you hurt the microbes adding the other nutes afterwards.

I always add the hydroG last. I think nitrogen toxicity could be issue but not sure. Roots are clean, not slimy, no odor, etc., so I am going to drain and water and use no GH Grow and only feed Micro & Bloom.

@SEC can we get a few pics of the plant please :sunglasses:

These are the recent ones. They look exactly the same as the last ones…

They are showing sings of Nitrogen Tox. Clawing and cupping leaves.

@SEC … how old is she?

How many ppm does your nute mixture equal?

Those are about 10-12 weeks. I vegged for up to 8 weeks before transitioning. I am in the 2nd week of bloom (early), next week will be the first week of mid-bloom.

PP

PPM stays between 800-1000 and 1.4 - 1.7 EC

Current PPM is 1050

2nd week after flip or 2nd week after pistols

2nd week of 12/12, pistols are just now forming.

During the two transition weeks I start drawing down the light in 15 min intervals, each day until we hit 12/12. I think the first two days I draw down by 30 minutes to make sure we are on track but I think the point is clear.

Sorry to say but you have definitely got bugs again… back of the leaf with a microscope. You can’t see them with your eyes. Seeing a lot lately on several grows. :v: :sunglasses:

IMO, because there are many and many good ones. Those do look like little bugs and it does look like you have a N toxicity, glad you cut the Gro out.
I start my flower ppm @ 1000 and 6.0 ph, and i increase ph 1/10 each week up to 6.4 and then work down 1/10 to harvest. I increase my ppms as the plant shows it is eating, but rarely past 1200 or 1300.
I mix my calmag /nectar / kool bloom to half or a little more of my target ppm and use the Lucas Calculator to add the Micro and Bloom nutes. then Hydro G and PH.
Have your heard of the Lucas formula?
