I’m putting a Grand Daddy Purp clone into its own tent to become a mother plant for successive grows. The clone is currently in the “late veg” phase of the General Hydroponics 6-part feed chart. Should I simply recreate its current environment or should I slow down the growth by decreasing the nutrient levels? Same question regarding the light intensity. The plant is in a recirculating deep water culture and will be in a 2x4 tent with an HLG 300 Rspec light. Thanks in advance! @dbrn32 @Myfriendis410 @Covertgrower @latewood

Imo, a pot of soil or Peat would be better option for keeping mom over longer period of time. It’s gonna grow pretty fast in rdwc system. Cutting back on nutrients too much will probably make it nutrient deficient. May slow it down some, but then you’ll have other issues to contend with as well. Seems like jamming her up in small pot witj lower light intensity and blue heavy spectrum would be easier to do.

OK. I guess what i am trying to convey is that the scheduleyou posted makes no sense. You claim to be a new grower, and want advce, so what are you asking for as far as guidance?
Oh ok. Now I understand. It’s funny that you say it makes no sense. How did you come to that conclusion? Yes I am a new grower. Yes I use general hydroponics flora grow trio. Yes I’m Currently in week 10 of my first grow. Yes all of my plants look amazing. Yes that’s the schedule I use. Now Mr. Certified Grower, what doesn’t make any sense???
(FYI the person asked what nutrient level is best for vegging) they also mention GH.

I use Jacks 321 on my clone mothers with a water/feed/water cycle, so on feed day they get around 950ppm then next is RO water only at about 7ppm. Would be comparable to giving them 475ppm every watering. Keeps them from growing too fast or getting deficiencies, along with lower light levels and keeping them trimmed down.

Because it doesn’t make sense to you. Doesn’t mean it don’t make sense. From YouTube to this Forum I’ve seen many different GH GROW RATIOS. To think that yours and yours alone is the right one, your confidence level must be on dictator. I can only speak on what I use and what’s worked for me so far.
