What makes a plant go all in on leaves?

This Gorilla Cookies Auto has a ton of buds, but also a ton of leaves.

Is this a genetic thing? Or can the environment cause this?

It did start out under a weak light, and was transplanted from normal pot, and moved to Autopot under 800ppfd during week 3-4 of bloom, and took off, this is week 9 of 10. I have been using Canna Terra nutes throughout bloom.

Primarily genetic.

I’ve grown many gorilla cookies autoflowers. Everyone has been on the shorter side of tall yet was extremely bushy and leafy with gigantic fat buds that get incredibly Frosty. I just wish I could grow a monster. The weed is super fire. Best of luck to you bro :flexed_biceps:

BTW, I had one grow that one of the plants only went 7-1/2 weeks of flower and was ready to harvest with 15% Amber

Genetic. Doesn’t hurt anything…actually helps if you catch a deficiency and she drops some leaves…you have a ton of backups. Just sucks when it’s time to harvest.
