I had flying ants mating other day and there were thousands (or hundreds:)) of flying ands in my yard. It seems it was a one day per year event, but now I have a few of these bugs I noticed lingering around my plants. Is this a wasp type? Should I be concerned for cannibus plant?
Thanks!!!
I believe that is a beneficial wasp
This support group is the best😄
That’s a predator bug nothing to worry about @Dirtyalbany and as @Lacewing beneficial for your garden
It really is the best !! So many people willing to help and share their opinions …only reason I smoke homegrown lol otherwise I’d be lost
Thank you!
What app is that? Really cool
I never had a bug problem but I figured it was a good thing to get!
Best thing about it …no ads and it’s free …there’s also like challenges to earn badges from discovering stuff
I just got the app. Very cool…my son is going to learn a lot about bugs now lol
I think it’s beneficial
I would guess it’s in the Xylophagus sp.… several kinds and no common name. There are one or two with the longer antenna ( there are approximately 32 sub species that also include some beetles. Latin is broken down basically to mean wood eater.
Or a type of wasp… so many to choose from though! Compare to a Parasitic wasp
High praises. Now I remember why I took Latin in High School. Smart upper class girls willing to help a freshman.
Looks to be a beneficial.
