both of my girls are young. one at 12 days and one at 14 days. when i checked in on them this morning they both had one leaf each with this brown spot on it. the younger of the 2 has 2 brown spots on the same leaf. they are planted in ffof and only ph’d water has been given to them.

I wouldn’t worry about blemishes on the lower leaves.

thanks midwest! the spots on both plants are on the lowest leafs. just trying to do this right the first time around and obviously trying to be pro active and stay a step ahead.

Looks like water damage to me.
Try not to let the leaves get wet.

Thanks HMGRWN! I thought about that afterwards because I did let some of the water drop onto both plants. Guess that’s a no no.

good question cjsvirginia. i don’t think it’s actually water getting on the leaves causing it, although it could be. i am now more inclined to think that it might be where you are touching the leaves when you’re working with the plant. i.e. trimming, LST or whatever. either way, i still get a leaf here and there that get the brown spot/s on them like that. but it doesn’t appear to be hurting anything and they have been getting trimmed off as a matter of course trying to get some of the bud sites more open too light.
It is due to artificial lights being close and stationary where the sun far away and constantly moving. Outdoors is different .
