What Is the Weight of Your Harvest?

This is my result of the ak47 auto! :herb::gift::+1:

I harvested Thelma and Louise the last 2 days. This is my first grow. Strain is ILGM Gold leaf.

Wet weight for Thelma was 297 grams of bud with 66.78 grams of trim.
She was the runt the whole grow.
Wet weight for Louise was 968.77 grams of bud with 201.45 grams trim.
She was the monster and I have 12 clones of here for the next grow.
The black cardboard there on is 2’ x 2’

This picture is just Louise

I’m going to call this a successful first grow.:rofl::rofl:

Thanks, I still have 3 plants left but they where grown under china lights and should only be 2oz dry. They are very frosty though so that probably will be my smok’in weed till next harvest.

@Nug-bug here we wait your results.

This morning I checked the trichomes of my remaining three plants and they where 10-20% amber so I cut them down. These plant where grown under the china lights most of there days, so yes you can grow weed with these lights but your yield will suffer. The one plant I grew under the Quantum Boards was twice the weight of these three plants. So there is the results of that experiment.

This is Laverne and Shirley and Lucy too.
Wet weight is 552.92 grams (1.2lbs) so dry should be around 4oz

Total harvest from 6 plants was about 4lbs wet with a dry weight projected at 13oz. Not to bad for a rookie.

Final weight in about 10 days

10 days?! Damn bro, im hoping to dry mine in 5, then paper bag um or jsr them for a few days burping every hour hahs

Well since the buds are so huge I thought I would give them 10 days to be sure. Then put them in jars to cure. I will check again to make sure I’m doing it right. You can still !@#$ things up even after harvest
@McLovin777 @bob31 How many days do you dry

@bob31 What is your drying schedule/procedure?

Identical to what you posted more or less. I try not to lock in on drying time but do 3 days minimum. Then go from there usually into brown paper bags to finish drying.

Many different ways but you don’t want them to get too dry. 50 -60% is decent. I usually brown paper bag mine up with a hygrometer to see where they are at. Then curing.

Are you talking Relative Humidity or the bud being 50 to 60% dry. I hang my buds from the stem which is attached to clips on a clothes line. RH 50%, Dark with small fan blowing

RH Relative Humidity. To check them after three days, I bag a layer into a brown paper bag with a hygrometer to see where they are at after an hour. If they are 50-60% RH I jar them up with a 62 pack and a hygrometer. If they are a little high I leave them in the bag for awhile. Sometime on smaller grows I dry the entire harvest in the paper bags. It seems to hold the smell in nice!

I like my bud to be as good as possible and nothing beats homegrown, perfectly cured bud! @MAXHeadRoom

PS. Always more than one way to get the job done!

Total weight at harvest: 223.6 :sunglasses::green_heart:
I am beyond thrilled!! This is my first ‘real’ harvest (more on that later).
First, we shut the lights off for 2 days; then bent/snapped her branch at the base and left her for another day of dark. Next I cut her into 2 main branches and 3 smaller branches and hung them all in the dark tent for a day. Can’t get the humidity below 73% so today I trimmed them and put the buds in paper bags (thank you to all who suggested this!)

The two main buds were 14.5 and 13.9 :muscle::v::ok_hand:

68.5

A few years ago, I grew a plant in my bathroom closet, lined with foil, with nothing more than a cheap florescent light and rain water. I think we got 10 grams from her but didn’t know about curing. The gal we just harvested (Garcia aka Baby Girl) was started in the same closet but with a T5. She finished her veg and completed the flower state in a 4x4x6 tent with 1000w HPS, with nutrients and compost tea. Didn’t know about pH levels till she was nearly done flowering so I think she spent her life at 7. I have a lot to learn and improve but I feel this was a success!! Now for the curing, waiting, patience…:grin::sunglasses:

I also got 14 grams of clippings (sugar leaves?) Is that enough to made some butter? Half or 1 pound?

I don’t know what light you use but whit one meizhi 450w in a 2x2x5 grow box I got from a autoflowering strain 76.5g dry (2.69oz). The Quantum Boards are good lights but not for me

@M4ur that’s awesome , 2.69 oz in a 2-2-5

If I will grow a photo period plant definitely the amount of mj will be bigger but I don’t want to wait so much for them to finish so I grow auto strain
PS ln the same space I squeeze in a clone (she give me 26.4g) total 102.9g under a meizhi 450w(192w true watts)
