What if I only harvest 1/2 plant

I’ve heard you can do a partial harvest to let under growth buds to mature more.
My question is would it take extra long for the non mature buds to grow do to stress of chopping half the plant?? As in if I believe they only needed an extra week, would it actually be like 3 weeks to include the stress recovery. :face_with_monocle:

Week…2 your call. Half the foliage…all the roots. I do it regularly. They wont get a lot bigger. They WILL ripen well.

Stress can actually shorten the time it takes to mature. The plant tries to finish before things get even worse.
I had a peach tree that would not produce fruit. Took a bat and bruised the trunk to trigger the survival instinct. It finally bloomed and made peaches that year.

I have a Honey Crisp apple tree that has never produced. I think it needs more than a bat

I’ve went the long way home and re-vegged a photoperiod flower. Some call this a
Monster cropping. Plant will sprout grow tips galore.

Any downsides? Why doesn’t everyone just do that instead of starting over?

Go for it @Jerdan03 , harvest the large colas an let the small buds mature another 10 days. Dab some honey on the cuts. Good luck :v::+1:
