Without the runoff numbers my only other thought was if something was accidentally spilled on the leaves.
What looks nasty down there? Do you leave the runoff sit under there?
Nothing spilled but I did foliar spray it up until a few days ago. The spray was ph water along with seaweed and calmag.
Yea, There is a big tray in the bottom, there is good amount of space between the bottom of the pot and the tray (mesh drainer holds up the pot) so I leave the water in there, it evaporates by the time I water again. Do you think its a problem?
I’m not sure if it’s a problem per say but I’m not sure I would want that stagnant water sitting under there lol
Yea I know, I just don’t know how to get it out. I probably set it up wrong… it’s gross
That could be your problem. You really don’t need to foliar spray supplements unless there is an issue or spraying for pests. That could easily cause your yellowing/burning due to ‘lensing’ of the liquid.
I agree; good catch young lady!
To get water out use a baster . Unless it’s a lot then use a transfer pump that hooks on a cordless drill if u have one.

Or this. Amazon.com
Crap! I watched this youtube guy do that.
I made sure no drops stay on it, just a mist. Not doing that again.
I’ll try to get that water out, again I watched this youtube guy use huge grow trays and the water would just sit there since the trays are not really mobile. I did the same thing. It seems fine but I’m sure there is bad stuff in there by now.
Excellent catch Mel. U dont want water sitting stagnant. I just saw this somewhere… (the leaf look…) gimme a sec
It’s a cheap option to try. I didn’t think if it. Or rather didn’t think it was an issue. Thanks for the links.
What do you guys think about my feeding? I want to make sure they have enough nutrients without overdoing it.
2x260W LED about 520W from the wall.
My plant is sitting in ocean forest (top half) subcool’s mix bottom half.
I give water every 2-3 days, if sides feel dry I water. Now they dry faster so I water mostly every 2 days. I use store bought purified water, I add calmag, seaweed, molasses and then ph.
I water with compost tea once a week I use urb, seaweed, calmag, Molasses for wet ingredients and soil, castings, compost, flowergirl bud and bloom fertilizer and fishbone meal for dry ingredients. Bubble 12 hours and feed a whole gallon.
Too much? Not enough? Any thoughts?
No way to tell without runoff or a slurry. That super soil should be LOADED. And FFOF is good for 5-6 weeks usually.
Sorry couldnt find the article. But it showed half twisted (usually ph issues) and the same marks… @Budbrother i scoured the alchima article and couldnt find it. Do u remember that convo tho?
Oh I see, ok thank you for looking into it.
I ordered the TDS meter it’ll be here in two days. I’ll post an update when I water next.
I use this soil and Purp is right. I usually don’t have to feed at least 4 to 6 weeks in
Wait I don’t understand, you mean start feeding 5-6 weeks into flower or it’s only good up to 5-6 weeks?
It is usually only good for up to 6 weeks. When you get your tds meter and can check runoff numbers we will know if you should give a full feeding or not from there
Ok cool, thank you for all the help
Your welcome and anytime
@Willk, you may also use a shop vac to remove run off. Not sure how big of an area we are talking about. If access is tight, you can also take a flexible tube and some duct tape and tape it to the end of one of the attachments for the shop vac. I have used this method in the past to remove water in hard to access areas.
