I wiped it off. I don’t know what else to do. Are you working a half day today?
Sorry. That was for my daughter. My grandson got sick at school on his computer.
Greetings, brother.
I pray for your family to recover from illness.
Take care
Thank you. Prayers for you as well.
Hey gro bro… I may be late to the convo but I just want to add some useful info. Distilled water is the purest water available because it’s devoid of minerals or contaminants, and therefore has a neutral pH of 7. Pure Distilled water should never have a an acidic pH, and if it does, it’s because it’s been sitting out for minutes to hours. This is caused from carbon dioxide gas dissolving into the water to form carbonic acid. This is the process that turns water “acidic” and since distilled water is pure, its pH can change rapidly when exposed to air or other solutions. You should use your distilled water immediately or keep it in enclosed in an airtight container to keep the pH from swinging so much. We use double distilled water in the lab, which is water that’s been distilled twice, and we still have to compensate for sources of error, due to the quick changes in the pH of distilled water during some experiments.
Thanks,
I go by this and trust in its findings. I use this always and basically no other findings will make any changes for me and my equipment I use. Everyone can decide for what they use.
Take care.
No prob bro and most definitely! Just felt that the pH swing in your distilled water was very alarming and wanted to offer some help on how to store it. Also, although the article does contain some useful information, I would beware of any sources mentioning the validity of alkaline water… I do not recommend drinking distilled water however, as drinking it in excess can cause salts to be pulled from your cells and lead to severe dehydration and even health complications. Also, I hear it doesn’t taste good lol, but happy growing bro
Greetings,
No one was discussing drinking distilled water.
If you read it was to clean a ph pen after using and getting a reading to see if your pen is still near calibration.
My distilled water after sitting or using always stays at 5.7 to 5.8. Hence it gives me a good cleaning and reference of calibration.
If I was to go to Kroger and get distilled water for my medical equipment and test it before using, it is always at 5.7 to 5.8.
So it remains a good test standard for my pen. However I calibrate every 3 uses.
Most ph pens reference to cleaning of distilled water.
I don’t even have to adjust for plants that I raise in water only soil, 5.8, move on and use.
Take care.
No ofcourse, it was a joke lol. And if the distilled water from Kroger comes out fresh at 5.8, that’s a lawsuit jk, have a good one bro
Greetings,
Don’t know about all of the legal issues.
I just did recalibrate my meter and checked my new store purchase and checked and it sits at like I said 5.8. @68.4 degrees.
Sorry just the specs I always have had. So you can develop your own thoughts, I don’t tell only advise what I do, I don’t argue but do my own findings for my grows.
Take care
Thank you for for the information.
Alrighty, so after a little research, it all makes sense lol. Kroger reported in 2023 that their distilled water pH was 6.3 and by the time the consumer (you) gets it, it’s at 5.8, which is understandable and not bad! That bottle it comes in isn’t air tight, so some CO2 gas gets into the bottle, altering the pH a little, and since there is only so much CO2 that can dissolve into a certain volume of water, 5.8 is the normal after transport to the store I guess. Knowing me, I would bring this to the attention of the Kroger director, but since your not using it for the lab or anything too serious, I guess it’s not a problem, I just hate false advertising lol. Also, I thought you had your own distiller, my bad! Your waters good🤟🏽
Greetings, brother.
How do you feel today? Pray all is well.
How does that girl look today, and I think you were in week 10 going into 11?
The tricones are probably getting about 70% brown by now. Keep watching the tricones to inspect them going into all milky from a little clear. I have had autoflowers finish up at week 10 so always keep your eyes on the tricones. Have you decided on the couch lock or the buzz whete ypu can do a few things.
With your conditions I think you want a more sedated feel.
If more sedated feel will look for more amber look.
Take care
Good to hear from you. I hope you are doing well.
I am on week 10, day 2.
I would like to not be couch locked, maybe somewhere in between if possible but I will take it either way.
I have an idea for drying with hanging clips and small chain or jute. I’m hoping it will work.
Take care, coach!
Greetings, brother.
Sure you can hang on any thing as long as you have the space in your tent.
You are looking very good on the buds. I want all of the pistals to turn brown. You can have a few. I am thinking since you don’t want a couch lock but a nice high we are going for chopping at end of week 12. So lets feed week 11 and finish up water only week 12. Then let dry the end of week 12 we will turn the lights off for 48 hours in the dark. Then chop and hang each limb after removing all of the big fan leaves.
Take care
Good afternoon. Everyone was doing much better and then my mom got covid.
Greetings, brother.
Prayers for your mom may she have little to no discomfort and fast healing and to remain safe. Amen. Take care
Thank you.
