What do i have here? Leaves look off

I have the feeling that I’m deficient or over abundant in something but I don’t know what. Indoor grow tent using foxfarm nutrients. There certainly getting big but feel like i need to adjust something

In prime condition, so you shouldn’t feel that way. Could maybe use a bump in the calmag.

Agree with @Budbrother , magnesium deficiency just starting to show.

Does a calcium deficiency cause the leaves to get yellow spots and curl like this?

No, mag def shows as yellowing between the veins of leaves.

I was thinking there is a deficiency of some sort or too much direct sunlight. My plants are on a south facing balcony and they get full sunlight so I was thinking they got sun burnt. I’m a beginner so anything is appreciated. I will be switching to my grow tent soon.

I agree not Ca def, nor Mg def.
@Ericw416 leaf tip and edge dying brown is a something else.

Overfed/nutrient burn, or environment. Sunburn is white bleached leaves.

That is super helpful. I planted the plants in fix farm ocean forest soil, I have not done any supplemental feeding yet. Environment could be the cause. It’s the hottest month for us in the eastern part of New York. Humidity has been all out of wack

That’s a “hot” soil and I think you’re gonna have to ride it out. I can’t think of who uses it to ask about it. @Dennis62 uses a hot soil, ever experience this?
If the leaves lose water faster than they can replace it their edges suffer but go a really unshapely first and takes a long time before patches die.
Edit, so I dont think emvironmemt.
Oh and welcome to the forum neighbor, feel free to start a thread/topic or grow journal.

Thank you for welcoming me! And I was going to use coco coir but after countless studies and asking for advice everyone suggested that soil for a beginner . I feel as if growing these beautiful plants is harder then it should be

Thanks @Jaysittinback I use a even hotter medium miracle grow potting mix, but it is similar to foxfarm ocean forest and is a well draining medium and fairly hot and as jay said the dry periods could cause that burn, as nutes concentrate without moisture to dilute them, burning the tips and edges of the leaf. Water to run off and then allow a day or so to allow soil to breathe but not get too dry before watering to run off again, never allow water to stay in the trays after watering, dump it weed doesn’t like wet feet. You chose a good draining medium and you don’t need to feed for 5 weeks or so, but need a pk booster during flower. Watering should help with the problem at hand tho my friend, happy growing and welcome to the forum :innocent: hope this helps, I will be following this thread for follow-ups or questions :+1: @Ericw416 hopefully you don’t stress too much

Look real close at the margins between the veins, mag def is just beginning. Sun bleaching is lighter and mostly at top……

This was in response to @Lirosymaco , not @Ericw416 .

Looking good! I have a grow going in fox farm and use the ff trio plus their cal mag. Just flipped them today. You will notice a quick change with a little cal mag 1 tsp per gallon of water. Good luck.
