TxMan…Glad to hear you are happy, growing.
I use fertigation to deliver solution to my Tomato’s via a micro line, or drip tape, under plastic mulch.
Was wondering. Why do you not lean and lower your indeterminate vines and let them provide more fruit sets on the new growth?
Space is the primary reason, I do not have much ! !
Hmmmm fertigation ? I take it you give nutrients through a tube like an IV? I have to equate with medicine, makes it easier ! Sounds interesting. Do you make like a master cylinder that feeds the line to the plants? Anywhere I can look at a set-up like that?
Yeah I’m running late as usual , but greeting everyone , I made it to the venue . It’s a good look to see everyone hanging out socializing . Again , greetings , did anyone of you bring a pocket size to past , if not I have a few samples of my first run of 3 different strains , tokes anyone ?
Hell ya sounds good to me, I’ve been in here for about two months now and still haven’t got my drink…lol

TX … Dayumn … your garden sounds awesome! I would love some fresh tomatoes. Hope you’re not under water with all the flooding going on out there. We put in a huge garden a few years ago (30’x60’) and after two years of trying and the only thing growing was squash, I gave up on it. When I lived in San Diego, I grew flowers mostly. I had a gorgeous rose garden and little pond out front. About the only thing I can grow back here are iris’ and hostas … oh and a little weed!
I could never live without having something to grow. Even in college, I had plants growing (not weed, had little ones at the time) that kept me relaxed to spend a few minutes doing something to it.
The garden is doing as well as it can with 17+ inches of rain in the last month! A lot of my plants got drown with the 3-4 inches of rain over them for almost a week. They are doing poor now but am not too discouraged, I started a new bunch of seedlings. We are waiting for the sun to dry up all the rain ! Now we have clear skies and 85-90. Much preferable to heavy rain. Of course, in a two months or so, the whole area will be as dry as you can ever imagine. Life in Texas, gotta love it!
At least I can grow some weed inside ! Got some pretty nice AK-47 from the harvest I just finished. The White Widow is still in the drying stage now. Should be ready to start curing in a few days. I made a mistake and left the automatic fans on and it started to dry wayyyy too fast. I turned everything off and left it for a couple days and it started to dry slower and smelled much better.
Curing is something I never used to have the patience to do. I am starting it now and so far I like the early results. Smoked some 8 month old GS Cookies with friends and it was killer. Way better when Cured. I know the TCH breaks down but it is so smooth and easy to smoke. I was also told it would not be good smoke but not believing it now.
It definitely convinced me to take the time to cure it well and store it at optimal temperature and moisture with the moisture packs. I made a humidor to store it in out of oak with cedar lining. Treat it like my cigars. Only a little more private since it is not legal in Texas yet, but am hoping that will pass MMJ in Texas in a couple years.
Take care.
Good grows and great buds to you.

Hello fellow loungers … I’m curious about something. I live in southwest Virginia and my brother-in-law went to his go-to guy to get an ounce. He hasn’t had to buy until now cause I had a good harvest last fall … anyway … his guy wanted $800 for an ounce. That’s outrageous. I did some checking on the web and found that normally it runs about $300-400. At $800 an ounce I’m thinking about going into the retail business.
Iem here in East Tenn and I supplied a friend with my last grow and another friend went to him for an ounce and he wanted $800.00 an ounce. I said dam I charging this guy next time a hell of a lot more this time by the way I gave it to him at $150… an ounce.
Man that’s just crazy,I’m only a few hours south of Tennessee and if I tryed asking $800 for a zip I would get slapped,it’s hard enough trying to get $400 for it
I know it…I think the guy didn’t want anything to do with him. Because that’s just way out of line. To me $300.00 is more in line
Will
Agree! I have a friend that lives near Buffalo, NY and he said that it is going for $20/gram, around $565 an oz, and you don’t get much of price break until a lb or more. I have heard of $750 in some places. Guess it verifies the Law of Supply and Demand pretty well !
Here in Texas I have seen it mostly around $400. A lot of cheap quality weed coming through from Mexico. TxGrowman
Garrigan … you’re not far from me. Those prices are outrageous. Think you need to charge your friend more than $150 an ounce. I can’t afford those prices … that’s why I risk growing outside. After last year’s grow, I figure I need about 6 or 7 plants to get through a year without having to buy.
Does anyone know why those prices are so high out here? Is it because the supply is low?
MT
I my self to my friends that really need it $150.00 or a little less…hell for that matter I’ve give’n it away I could care less. I do get back what I put in.
But this guy Just whips out the money hell I just pick up the Money and leave…lol
