Yes, agree with Dman, female.
Pubic hairs (pistils) = it’s a girl
Thanks to all that answered. I thought I seen a sack also , though maybe I had a funny one, not the funny ha ha , just funny thanks.
Hello growers,
I had successfully germinated my autos and had them in the soil 2 days ago…and slightly water them (definitely did not over water). Getting a little paranoid now since then haven’t sprouted out of the soil yet. Is it completely normal?
It depends on how deep you planted it. 1/8 of an inch is plenty if you went deeper it may take a few days to break ground. Don’t worry till it’s been 5 or 6 days. Some pop up quickly some not so fast.
This plant is a blue dream auto and I think it may be stunted not sure and the seedling leafs are yellow and not sure if I’m doing something wrong it’s on it’s 5th day of sprouting and 7th day since germinating
Hello @Mike2059 and welcome to the forum!
First: Those two “yellowing” leaves are called the cotelydons. They are the first food source for you baby.
They don’t look that bad to me…
Second: Don’t water up to the stem of your seedlings, you risk killing them through “damping off”. Which basically means the stem might rot because of all that water.
Usually, when this young, you should water in a circle around your seedling. If you want to make it easy on yourself, just put a Solo cup upside down over her while you water…
You water this way to prevent damping off and to help promote root growth. The roots will go hunting for that water…
Otherwise, your baby looks healthy and should pick up speed when the roots will be established.
Welcome to the best place you can possibly be for Growin.
The Kaptain has you covered and took all the words right out my mouth. Your in excellent hands
Looks like you’re watering too much too often. What soil are you using.
Hello, I’m brand new to this and have no idea where to post my question. I was wondering if anyone can give an opinion on if this girl is ready to be harvested yet or not. She’s always been small. This is my apple strudel auto and was planted on June 5, 2024💜 She’s always been in my grow tent under LED lighting. Thank you for your time, and I’m sorry if this isn’t the right place to post this in.
It’s probably a little early yet to harvest this but I would keep a watchful eye on it. Once most of the pistils have turned colors and are starting to recede watch the trichomes on the flowers. They will go from clear to milky looking to amber. Once they are milky in color and you start seeing a small amount of trichomes going amber is usually a pretty ideal time to harvest.
Ohhh boy!
Thank you so much for your help! I actually have two others that I had to move to my closet because they got so tall over the last two nights that one got light burn so I’m trying to help her heal still. I got all of my seeds this time from Seedsman. The one that looks okay in these photos here is called Purple Ghost Candy and the one that doesn’t look so good is I think OG Kush.
Fox farm I believe it’s called
@Twebb745 Which fox farm soil? happy frog or ocean forest? Happy frog is for seedlings and ocean forest is for the remainder of the grow. You can use happy frog the whole grow you just need to add nutrients. Fox farm has a good nutrient line also. Ocean forest is a little too hot for seedlings.
