Buds everywhere, frosty and great, I need to prepare for harvest, I’m sure some plants will take longer than others but I can’t have a stinking plant sitting around. Advice? Got 1 tent with all the plants and 1 is a sativas and will 100% take weeks longer.
Welcome! I’m not quite sure what you’re asking. The smell? Or just one plant in a tent? But you said there are others, are the others vegging and the last plant flowering? Just trying to help. Lots of helpful people on this forum.
Do you have any other
Available space you could set up as a temporary dry room?
I’m actually thinking of picking up another tent to have on hand in case I run into the same problem on my next grow. I’ve been lucky so far and have been able to chop down all my plants at the same time but it would be nice to do a few at a time so that it doesn’t feel like it takes so long to harvest. One a day or something.
I actually have a little 2’man pop-up-tent for camping. That is a great idea for a small controlled environment that needs no reflective material for lights! has built-in venting (mosquito-net) and you can open or close as much as needed.
You get a badge!
(just kidding, I can’t do that
)
Smell is the problem, I’ve got a fair few and been around here a good few months now ")
I guess I could get a 4 x 4 and just smash a dehumidifier in there, just hoped I wouldn’t have to kick out any more money… but ah what’s another 70 bucks when I’m so close!

I’m not sure what your budget is, but you should get a carbon filter. Heck, it made my laundry room smell BETTER, even with the plants in there. That was my wife’s biggest complaint was the smell. Especially as my plants got more mature. Here’s an example, of you already had a fan, you can find just filter if needed.

Haha bro i hate to brag but I have the purest hyper fan 8 inch stealth ") it’s just the drying, all plants are in flower and 10 should be done the same time give or take a few days, but then I only have 1 big choc haze which will need like 3 more weeks or more… so my thinking is could I just get a 4 x 4 and slap a dehumidifier in there with a desk fan or something? Close all the air holes to stop smell?
@McLovin777 the worst thing to do right now is to close it up and stop airflow. Especially since you mentioned humidity. You don’t want a mold issue. You could throw a dehumidifier in there, but I don’t think it will stop the smell. If you have a fan, just order the carbon filter on its own. Either on intake or exhaust.
I don’t think I explained properly, sorry my dude.
I have a tent, filter fan setup lights bla bla and plants are growing, I just mean when I give them the chop, do I need to leave them in a tent with carbon filter as I’ve seen some people dry in a cardboard box… I’m unsure on the process as this is my first grow, I have weeks to sort this out, just getting opionions and knowmedge ahead of time for obvious reasons ")
