Wedryer and humidity - Several questions?

Hi
About to harvest my first grow (outdoor fabric container, coco. ILGM do-si-doe photo.

I have a Wedryer bag, 62% humidity packs and grove bags. I also have the small digital humidity/temp readers I’ll put in the wedryer.

My plant is in my shed undergoing 48 hours of complete darkness. Will harvest and do a bud wash Monday then start my drying process.

Questions

  1. I know the room humidity should be around 60%. What happens if my humidity in the room is 45% or something lower than 60%. Does the 62% humidity packs bring the moisture up to the desired range? **Wasn’t sure exactly what the packs do.

  2. How many humidity packs do I put in the wedryer? Only one plant but quite a bit of product.

  3. Once I have the buds dry and trimmed, I’ll put in grove bags. Assume I “do not” put a humidity pack in the grove bag. Pretty sure the answer is no but want to confirm.

Thanks.

No humidity packs in wedryer. No packs in cure jars. They are ONLY good to maintain during storage. I had some and trashed them as grove bags do fine all by themselves. Lower rh will probably be ok. I stay low in my house and use a wedryer. The trick i have found is if drying too fast ill pull…jar with a little meter and see where they are. If over 65 ill paper sack them a day then rejar. Once 62 or 63% ill start cure. Just me. A humidity pack in a wedryer will not work.

Your buds will dry out more quickly.
