Can i use distilled water to water my plants ?
Yes you can. However cal deficiencies may appear. I use tap h20 let sit overnight & with nutes i rarely have to adjist the ph. Lots of minerals in regular h20.
I use distilled waterin my hydro set up just make sure you ph the water
Do you have to use cal-mag when using tap water?
I just watched a video last night where a guy was doing an experiment on tap vs. distilled mind you it was a hydro set up but none the less the tap water beat out the distilled water as far as root growth and new growth. Which I was thrilled about cause I go through about 7 gal. water a day. Can get expensive. But I would imagine that the extra minerals in the tap water is what beat out the distilled. And he did ph both waters.
This is my 4th grow using 2 different nutes, General Hydro & Nectar of Gods. With both ive had to use cal mag. These plants thrive on it.
Do you use it every water between feedings? And if so how much per gal. do you use?
I go 1 tsp on water days . i feed, water with calmag, feed, then tea & start over.
