Nutrient deficiency/Cal Mag

I had to create a new post but I posted a post earlier talking about the issue I’m having with my Canabis plants I couldn’t post any new pictures because I was at work this is my first ever grow. I was advised on my last post to use distilled water from now on because tap water has way to high of a ph count. So attached are the pictures I took today about 3 hours ago to show what I am talking about and this all started in the past couple days. Now today when I got home I did give them a dose of cal mag because from what I looked up it’s saying I have a magnesium deficiency. Idk what you guys think.

What is the TDS and PH of your tap water source Growmie. Distilled will be free of minerals like calcium and magnesium which are 2 very critical secondary nutrients. What nutrients are you currently using and the soil they’re growing in, yes on the magnesium deficiency, 1.0 gram of Epsom salt per gallon of water or nutrient solution is a great source of magnesium and sulfur :love_you_gesture:

Can you verify that with your water Municipalitys online water report?
You say tap so I’m assuming city water not well water :metal:t2::green_heart:

The city said that their PH is around 7.9/8 but I bought a ph meter and it’s reading higher than that. Or could also be my pipes my apartment was built back in 1942 and it still has a lot of the original pipes.

Just a thought, but did you calibrate your pH meter?

No I didn’t know it had to be calibrated I figured it was ready right out the box.

I did the same with my first meter, one of the $20 pens, came with a couple packets of crystals. Mine was definitely not in calibration out of the box. I have a better pen now and bottles of cal fluid, I check calibration weekly.

How much drift do you see weekly?

Yeah I won’t lie to you this is my first ever grow lol so idk what you mean

Was this question for me? If not, ignore me. If so…I don’t get any drift to speak of. I have an Apera PC60 and it keeps good calibration. I’m just a little ocd about it now since I nute locked my first plants with my first pen.

Use a drench to drought routine with soil Growmie, 2 days seems a little soon?? Check your run off PH and PPMs on drench days and adjust according to those numbers on the next feed and PH :love_you_gesture:
