Water stress.. good or bad?

I think that’s what the Morrocans of old found, slight reduced yield slight increased strength. A lot of years they suffer late flowering drought so employed the technique of withholding water last week or so.

That’s where it started at least for me and the early cannabis board myths.

No sign of herms yet. I feel like a lot of people don’t understand how resilient some strains are. The plant that hasn’t experienced drought has smaller colas and less trichromes. I think that’s where everyone goes wrong is trying to master everything rather than experiment. I’ve completely stressed these plants out week after week since week 3 or 4. None have Hermed and they smell, and look delicious.

I will master my own technique through experimenting. Will I succeed some grows? Yes. Will I fail some? Yes and that’s fine with me.

How many plants have you had herm that were guaranteed feminized?

Unfortunately…too many…from every breeder I’ve ever purchased Fem seeds from - period (not every strain mind you). In my experience a Fem seed is much more likely to hermie vs. a reg.

The ability to reverse sex is baked into Cannabis’ genetic code (its a protection mechanism to ensure genetic preservation) so it can happen to any Cannabis plant…it can even go the other way…from male to female herm.

I’ve come to accept it as part of the “game”. That said, when i find a strong stable female that checks all the other boxes (potency, terps) i usually keep her as a clone mother.
