Alrighty folks, here is a good full picture of my 12x8 flower room. I have 5 plants that i just transferred in here and in their 2 week transition to the big lights. Will be 6 in about a week. ( HLG 320XL and HLG600R ) theyve been in my veg room under a HLG300Bspec and VS2000 for nearly 7 weeks. So, with 6 plants( thatll be my max at any time) i want to maximize my lights in my flower room. What could i pair up with what i have now to maximize my yield without C02?

I saw on HLG’s website that they now have added a 320 Rspec FR to their line up. I have two 260 Rspec FRs and a 350R. I really like the versatility, and the spread that you get from the the three foot lights with the two boards on the ends. Like the 350R, the 260s, or the 320s. The 260 Rspec FR is only $249 list, and with the discount code DUDE it is only about $225. One can pick up two of those, and end up with 520 watts of top quality light for about $450.
@Ickey i dont think dude works anymore. I tried it when i got the 300 when i started this grow. I was really eyeballing a blackbird… think that would be too much? They are backordered right now, but my second choice was the 700FR.
@ChittyChittyBangin, I used the code DUDE on 3/13/23 for a 10% discount with free shipping for a 260 Rspec FR. When I added a pack of wago connectors, to the order, they tacked on shipping charges. So I closed out the first order, and reordered with just the light with free shipping at a 10% discount.
Just my opinion, and that is not worth a lot. But I would prefer two refurbished 350Rs over a 600 Rspec. The Diablo board in the 350R kicks ass.
I visited the site and there a 10% off link that pops up, but it doesn’t reference 4/20. There may be a better deal offered here in a few days (my opinion based on the last 4 years on 4/20.) They did 25% off in 2022.
With all that extra space in there you could always get the Scorpion. Diablo boards are hard to beat. If they do 25% off on 4/20 and you get a refurb it’s just $50 ($999-25%~$750) more than the Blackbird. Maybe even less if they let you stack a discount code on there. Definitely wouldn’t ever have to worry about lacking power.
With what you already have in there a 350R would fit nicely. Especially if you’re never flowering more than six plants. Still get the benefit of Diablo boards but without the overkill. A 350R would rock the hell outta two plants for sure. Sale and refurbished you could get it for $300. I paid $400 for mine and it’s worth every penny.
So i pulled the trigger. 350R it is to add to the 320XL and 600R. Maybe now ill have enough light for 6 plants… found a bombass discount code that wouldve beat any 20% off sale.
