Does anyone have experience with the Vivosun E42 controller and App?
I’ve been using it but I want to try to run the autoflower recipe. My problem is it always says recipe not running after I go through the steps. I’ve called them but the technical support isn’t good. They want to do everything by email and videos.
have not seen anyone say they are using it but there probably is… I use the ACI controller…
I’m using it on photo
Should be the same though
Click the auto flower in the app then hit play…
Play will be at the bottom when looking at the app.
Hope this helps
Happy Growing…
I planted the tap rooted autoflower seed in a 3 gallon fabric pot yesterday. Do I switch to seedling then hit go? 1000011058|230x500
Does this have to be switched to the vegative stage before it comes on?
I would think if it’s a seedling yes stay on seedling and hit play…
Happy growing
Click the “recipe not running” section of your environment tab. Once open, you will see a play button towards the bottom of that screen. Hit the “play” button and it will start the recipe. You can cancel, and restart, and play with it to customize it, so dont be scared to fool around with it.
Mine says apply instead of play. I’ve gone all through it and it stays in manual and recipe not running.
You can put in in photo mode and run veg cycle just have to turn lighting up as you go.
If you can’t figure out the auto flower mode…
That’s always an option…
Just have to set intensity for seedling then veg then flower
Hope you get it figured out…
Happy Growing
Thanks. I may have it. I’ll know more if anything turns on. Is there a chart any where for light distance from the plant?
Not sure
I kept mine 12-18 inch’s.
Happy Growing
Its finally running.
Glad you got it figured out…
Happy growing…
I love my ACI Controllers. I would Imagine the Vivosun is similar in function. From my experience, The controller excels most at controlling climate. I.E. Temp and Humidity, and of course the timing of the light/s. However the intensity of the lights is entirely up to the operator. The two best investments I think I have made as far as “Tools” goes is Above average PH/TDS pens, and a Advanced Quantum Sensor PAR Meter I choose the PHOTOBIO.
Without the par meter, I was always guessing at light height and intensity. There really is no guessing anymore and it has taken all that stress out of that part of my growing experience. 1000% worth the initial pain of the 180 dollar meter.
