I’m on week 8 day 1 pf WW Fem grow, I started with a Vispar 600 led, in a 2x8x6 closet ( which I don’t recommend the space) anyway I did end up adding another one , and next grow I will add two more in a 4x8 tent , basically one per plant. I do try and top and scrog for a wide plant, maybe over kill but I’ve got dull spots now with two.

I use viparspectra 300watt full spectrum and have been very happy with the results. I have tried other more expensive brands and was more satisfied with these. I use three of them in a 4’ x 5’ space.
First time posting:
I have been using Vispar 600 leds x 2 in a 4X6X8 grow box area since July on 5 plants(I had 5 of 5 sprout and I was only hoping for 4). Started out with fluorescent fixtures for seedlings then switched over to the LEDs when the plants were 4 in tall. Seems to be working well with the LEDs @ 24 inches also I am experimenting with 3 (four fixture) fluorescent’s set up for side light penetration in the grow box. I have been aggressively topping the plants so they seem short at 6 in. but horizontal growth is 12in. on the most robust plant. Will start to lollipop in a week or two to help light penetration because, though they are small plants they are very bushy…
It seems like more than enough help is already provided to the question.
But, here’s my few cents.
It highly depends on your growing needs.
If you’re planning for around 2ft X 2ft of grow space then with this grow panel you can easily enjoy great lighting and your plants can get best possible growth.
But, if you’re planning to use in larger area then i won’t suggest you to go for 450W variant instead choose 600W variant of Vipaspectra in the same reflector series. I personally think that PAR series is just a hype and nothing else. Yeah, reflector is doing great everywhere.
However, people claim that blah blah grow panel is best of all but i don’t think so because each one will definitely have some drawbacks.
The only best grow light is one which satisfy all your need and make your plant to grow well.
Good to go with 450 Reflector series. Use 2 light for 4 plants. I have reviewed this light personaly.

I think your light would work best for a 4x4 or 3x3.

Hows things mate. you may be able to help me with a suggestion for my tent. I am forced to spend a little less than i was hoping on a new light setup. Im looking at the viper spectra and not sure whether to go 300 or 450 in a tent that is 5x4x2. your thoughts would be appreciated please. ive drowned myself in research and have gone scrambled eggs on the subject.
